Maybe if you cry about it some more the league will award you some sympathy points.

Congratulations on your one point against us this season which is still one point more than your pointless post.

Talking to us about points hahahaha deary me, put the Stella and needles down and check the table boys.

That alky Imrie is probably a perfect fit for Morton when I reflect actually.

You've been floating around Championship and L1 for years, we're having a title push in our first season in this league, the Morton bitterness and rage is magic.

  2. Morton battle hard and had some decent moments but QP by far the better football side. Morton Manager lacked a bit of class at the end trying to have a go at QP fans, it was a draw mate relax.

Shields must score the chance before half time. 3-0 at the break and it’s over. Then a perfectly good goal disallowed from Eze.

Really poor from Charlie Fox for the first Morton goal. There’s only 1 runner into the box just feckin look over the shoulder and get close.

Jack Thomson and Savoury outstanding for me. Loads of good performances but just not enough sadly.

Oh well, congrats on the 2-2 victory it was a good day out for you lot.

  3. Meh, that wasn’t great 🤣 Poor quality from both teams. Pointless long balls and misplaced passes. Some selfish decision making too.

Brilliant goal from our new striker. The touch and finish was magic. Hopefully he has a strong run to the end of the season, we’ll need it.

Dundee dropping points is fine, but it’s a missed opportunity really! All the teams will drop points in the remaining games so it’s entirely up to us.

  4. The Members were asked to vote on a decision based on dodging the trap door. The quote from the President was “the best way to not be relegated from L2, is to not be in L2”. No one mentioned premiership football until Dempster arrived.
Don’t get it twisted, the ride to this point has been great, but Dempster started the premiership chat and now that it’s time to deliver off the park, we’re severely lacking.

She doesn’t take accountability for the stadium, errors like the Scottish Cup, lack of fan communication, the lack of strategic and forward planning.

At some point the Chief Executive role has to be accountable for something.

  5. Friday was magic by the way, I thought everything went perfect from a QP perspective.

The new lad Oakley looked very good and Davidson offered an assist basically. Squad depth is always nice. That probably did Davidson good because Dundee away was a tough one for him.

Also buzzing with Shields debut. That’s a like for like replacement for Murray. Someone with legs and energy to buzz about up top as a lone striker and allow the other 3 attackers time to support.

Ayr offered nothing for long spells. Very direct to Akinyemi but Fox and Kilday were magic, AGAIN. That partnership is so strong.

It was interesting to see the team complexion with our starter striker sold but honestly we looked as good, if not better, than usual. I have no fears now with the 3 January signings, we’re maybe stronger which sounds daft after losing the lead goal scorer.

Coyle and the boys putting on the style as per usual.

I put the figures from the architects drawings up a while back and it’s much closer to 1000 than is being speculated on. The Away section is designated as the south stand and is designed for 500. With the exception of the Ne’erday game against Thistle that would have been enough for the other visitors. Problem is we haven’t built that stand yet even though it’s ready to be built. Can’t help but think the settlement on the first project is where our south stand is. £858k would just about have done it. We don’t even need it to be a stand. In fact, we didn’t need to build any stands, covered terraces would have been allowed and more appropriate, especially for travelling fans.

I suppose the spin will be that with the temporary arrangement of having both groups of fans in the same stand we hope to have a different ratio e.g. 80% home. That should ensure we keep pissing off our guests. We can be sure it’ll be a mess though. For example, if Ayr had been awarded 200 seats, and we only sold 500, we’d be out of pocket, again, and Ayr (other good clubs available) would be cheated out of 300 noisy fans. And let’s not forget the shambles of how we’ll treat our hospitality guests as they get shunted in and out of the ground between the Pavillion and the East stand.

In Dempster’s awful interview the other night the most telling part for me was the answer to the question about “are we ready for the Premiership?” “Let’s just get there and we’ll take it as it comes” was the words of inspiration from the Queen Clown. Those who have seen her at meetings will have spotted she’s very short on detail and absorbing key information, as was brutally exposed in last week’s fiasco. To even suggest we should enter the top tier with a “lets’s give it a whirl” attitude is inviting a world of pain none of us can even imagine.

I’ve not seen the interview you’re referring to but will try find it online. It’s the half time interview I assume. That’s scary stuff however if the super professional Chief Exec plan is to wing it.

Dempster spoke about premiership football when she arrived in L2. Now there’s no plan if we get there years later? What the f**k does she actually do? I’m bemused at every turn with her, I find it so incompetent.

As I’ve said in other posts, I can accept a volunteer making an error or two but this is a highly paid ‘professional’ that’s hindering our club rather than progressing it.

there is about 8-900 seats & no standing area.

    Still shite though

Fridays fixture, for example, wouldn’t have generated as much income if it was sold out at 800. There will be far higher attendances to come, that’s for sure.

We have people on the QP payroll earning a lot of money to make decisions restricting club growth. It’s not very good folks.

Haughey won’t be around forever, I thought the plan was sustainability?

Don’t get me started on the standing area. As far as I’m concerned that’s a class decision. Build a 40 seater for them but the hardcore don’t get an area to stand and, ye know, actually sing and encourage the team.

It’s all backward and because Coyle, Beuker and the players are getting it right we should all shut up and do as we’re told.

Right, moan done for today, I’m away out with the pooch, have a good Sunday Spiders.

. If you could bring in players for a rearranged game, then there could be an incentive to be unscrupulous and have a tie postponed (or just not try very hard to get it on!) so any new signings could play.

Hence my point that QP didn’t postpone the game, it was the opponents pitch. The rule could consider that.

Listen, I ain’t defending QP, I’m feckin ragin. I just find it frustrating.

In my experience (and I've worked with a lot of them) football managers have absolutely no idea what many of the rules are. Why should they? It's not their job to study the rulebooks. I'd be genuinely surprised if any of our former managers knew a player had to be signed before the original date of the tie to be eligible. It's the job of the Club Secretary or someone else at the club taking on that responsibility to let them know who is eligible to play in the tie and who isn't.

To be honest it's a very easy thing to overlook with everything else going on. I've sympathy for them, but it won't save them. They'll be chucked out.

I think the rule is very harsh for a rescheduled game. If it was a replay then I can understand.

I suppose there is a risk that teams would deliberately postpone games until players are signed, but it was our opponents pitch that couldn't fulfil the fixture. It is harsh in my opinion.

When we signed Murray he wasn't even ready to play in League Two thanks to his injuries, yet we gave him a multiple year contract. Last season he was a disappointing League One player but we gave him another chance anyway. Now he's finally showing his potential (and has been made captain) and he immediately wants to f**k off? Clearly not invested in the club and didn't deserve that leadership role.

Absolutely spot on. Have you not heard he’s having a child you monster?
Thank him for the good times but your post is the reality. QP has been very very good to him.

  11. Best of luck to Murray. I’ve got some absolutely magic memories from his goals so thanks and farewell.

Horrible for QP though, make no mistake about it. Top goal scorer lost during a title push.

What a load of utter pish mentioning a baby for taking a deal hahaha! Footballers pick the best deal for them regardless of having a wain or not!! It’s a ruthless business and players need to look after themselves sometimes.

  12. £24 is utterly embarrassing for a Championship game. Purposely skipping fixtures and expensive ticket pricing, big red flags. I bet your wages measured against your income is quite scary, I do hope we skelp you for £24 man. No wonder you're projecting all the financial nonsense to us, your club is a fuckin mess.

Think the majority of QP supporters  be they  members, season ticket holders or supporters are truly scunnered with the whole sorry saga.

I wasn't surprised when the email arrived. I think around October/November I accepted this is us for the season. It's next season that concerns me. We will be the laughing stock if our house isn't in order, make no mistake about it.

A yawn and a sigh is all the emotion I can muster when QP provide an update these days.

With all the talk on here about tying down players like Murray, Fox and Boateng (if he's available) to log term deals, and quite rightly so.

I'm more worried about losing OC.

The transformation he's brought, to even the existing squad, with 7 of last weekend's starters coming up from L1  let alone the quality players he's brought in to strengthen our weakest areas. In my mind a Hibs or Dundee Utd or Aberdeen who chop and change regularly might come knocking on OC's door.         My only hope is as a local boy, who's been around the block a few times now, he's happy settling back into his hometown Glasgow and with his overseas jaunts behind him and his family also settled, with his son as QP's second team coach. In his post match interviews, he certainly glows with  his admiration for the club, it's history and importantly it's fans He has made a connection for sure.

In a mad mad footballing world with it's revolving doors and crazy sums of money changing hands, I sincerely hope OC has enough in his bank account to allow him the luxury of choosing to work at a club and in an environment he clearly loves.

For me the difference he has made to the football my club plays, and the enjoyment he has brought to the fans, well, no money can buy that.

We've just been lucky so far and let's hope OC thinks the same.

I've been thinking this too. He speaks post-match about the journey and process but realistically if a bigger club with the right backing fancy Coyle, he'll be persuaded.

It would be pretty special for his legacy if he could take a small club into the Prem and compete. I've told myself a few times to prepare for bigger clubs taking interest. The work he's done has been nothing short of excellent.
