Busy night last night... Fraz, are the Pennies guys going to share the reasons they never got accepted? Obviously they cant share them on the thread the started to cry about not getting accepted, after they removed it, but it would be good to hear the rational behind them not getting in. Especially now that there is a Sunday team getting accepted into the CSAFL, it cant be sitting right with you.

Uddingston all but home in 1a. Fallin wont need much more to get it done in 1B (if any), as all the teams behind them have to play each other. Both will be great additions to the Premier. StPats are scraping by the now in the league but have a hefty lead. not easy for the chasing pack to churn out results when doing it Saturday, Wednesday but I'm sure Colville and Bannockburn will be up for the challenge. All teams in with a shout are still left in one of the majors so may slightly distract them from league business. Makes for an interesting couple of months.

Big one in 1b this weekend. Must win for Third Lanark. 1a still too close to call, next couple of weeks will interesting here. Prem should start to take shape over the next few weeks with more games taking place. Twat of the day must go to Stenny no11. winding opposition up when 1 nil up before half time is always a dangerous game. poor first half from both with stenny goal coming from a couple of defensive mistakes by Fallin. second half was a proper cup tie. Again defensive mistakes leading to goals. Fair play to Fallin for not giving up.

you will have the two teams from premier coming down, looking to go straight back up, along with the couple of teams who don't go up from 1a. the teams currently at the bottom of these league will just have more pointless games to play in my opinion. The cally league has been needing a shake up for a few years and like that they are trying to make a difference. I think it will also be easier for a new team joining the set up to go up at the first time of asking.

How does that effect promotion and relegation after this season then? Agree with Redondo that they could've looked at mixing it up a little as it could be a slog for the teams struggling in lower league.

Couldn't tell you. I judge leagues by their teams performances in the big one. LEAFA hasnt done much in scottish since Craigshill a few years back.

Never known a game between two average teams to get so much attention. Neither team good enough to win it and results in last couple of weeks have shown that.

Exactly Barmy. Both sides have been here before and worn the tshirt as to agro with other teams after a game. no time to dwell on previous games or forum chat. Im sure both will be looking forward to the challenge.
