What is the consensus of the 'keeper Connelly? Looked very good against Berwick in the cup, made a few decent saves against EK before a couple of howlers. Been on the bench for Motherwell at a really young age. Is he a player that could make it at a higher level?

Anyone got a copy of the team lines last night? Number 14 impressed when he came on but can't find a team sheet and missed the team being read out last night.

I was surprised by the level of actual football played by both teams at times. Alloa could probably have created better chances with that possession but for being away from home I thought it was a decent performance going by the limited knowledge of both sides.

Alloa controlled the ball for much of the second half but any time they lost it Easton and Frizzell looked very dangerous on the transition. Do Airdrie always play with they two as their central midfielders? Think better sides would hurt them as they aren't very physical for the middle of the park in a League One game but as I said dangerous when they win it back and break. McCabe done well at centre half until Sammon came on and it was a mismatch.

Going to this game tonight. Looking forward to it as Airdrie really need to kickstart their season. Is the car park outside the stadium open for all fans or is it just pass holders?

Far less clubs involved in a proper pyramid structure would be the best set up. That stupid rule where you needed a certain capacity before being allowed in the top flight would never of happened and local clubs wont be playing infront of empty stadiums that are three times the size they need to be.
