Not sure what to wish for here (from a QOS perspective) ... On the one hand we could do without another Falkirk-sized club in L1 next season with the budget the Pars would have.  Then again, Q Park will also have a "billy big bucks" budget which will probably match that of the Pars.  On balance, I'm guessing that deep down I'm hoping for the Pars to come all the way through the play-offs and stay in the Championship.  Purely for selfish reasons of course.

QP victory would be nice. Not that i like them but would sink the Fife bawsacks.

Double swap deals plus cash is a feature of my footballing childhood that won't ever be back. Certainly a Lambie speciality too.

We're OK for centre halves (on the assumption Tunji doesn't want to go back down South despite being under contract, which I think is in play) and centre mids (tho I and everyone else would happily punt Smith).

Need a smaller quicker striker to go along with Graham and Dowds, and lots of improvement in the wide areas.

Though if Tiffoney is away and we can find a decent RWB (Tumilty?) then a 3-5-2 would suit the shape of the squad as is.

Akinola has been poor. Hence the reason for him been in and out of the team. I really can't understand the fans love in with him. Yep agree with punting Smith. McCall also got to take the blinkers off regarding Docherty. He is garbage. In my living memory, only Kenny Brannagin was a worse choice of captain.

So why announce the departures of the others so early? The club could have waited a few days more.

Irrespective of Friday's result, my fear is that McCall will offer new deals to players who are clearly not good enough for this league.

Btw, I'd keep Hendrie too but there are rumours that he's agreed to join Queen's Park.

Clearly the ones announced couldn't play with us again this season. Whether we get past Caley or not.  Not heard anything about Hendrie to QP but i would dearly love someone to come in for for Docherty.

Hopefully, this statement does not suggest that McCall wants to offer new deals to Foster, McKenna, Bell, Murray and Crawford. Smith can go too.

There's no mention of Hendrie and Rudden.

We've still got a game/ games to play. I don't think now is the time to say who is and isn't staying. Fwiw i'd keep Hendrie as back up.

Really decent effort from Caley fans last night actually, hard to see how that wouldn't lift the players. On the other hand we just didn't seem to give a f**k, which I can't blame anyone, haven't watched us play a game this year where I thought it was actually an enjoyable game to watch.

Best of luck against Arbroath anyway.

I really don't think we were that bad last night. Two bad mistakes done us. I thought the performance was much improved on the last 2 months or so. We are not out of this.
