I have always believed it is.
Many voted No not out of any great belief but fear.
I think now that the fear of Brexit is outweighing the fear of independence.
If many voted out because of fear, it must have been fear of project fear which was on full throttle.

Those who oppose a second EU referendum miss the point - the first was only ever advisory - a second one would need to be binding.
DC spent £9.3 m telling the people the Gov would implement the result of the Ref. Who is ultimately sovereign the people or the law? You can change a law. It's more difficult to change the people.

No sonny. Wiki can be edited by numpties like you. Try Encyclopedia Britannica. But then again it's a big book, and you've got to know where to look first to find information. A bit like complaining that your lawyer simply took the information to get you out of a bind from a book. Ah! says your lawyer, but you've got to know from what book.

Yeah. Somehow I don’t think Losurdo’s critique of equating the Enlightenment and 1789 with the Nazis is under threat from this fella.Or from you, for that matter.

It's just a name. The Liberal Party in Australia is more right wing than our Tory Party. It's the policies and what a party does that defines its ideology, not what it calls itself.
Challenge nonsense? What about this gem above?

Well, we can quite clearly link Mussolini to Ancient Rome and Hitler via Bismarck to Hegel. The likes of Maurras and Sorrell pretty much disavowed Rousseau and Robespierre.
You seem determined to link fascism to the left, which unfortunately for you goes against pretty much every definition by political scientists and historians.
I have no idea where you are going with that 2nd paragraph tbh.
Apart from the bottom line, the rest is wishful thinking.

All in your opinion of course and you're reaching here tbh.
Mussolini coined the term and denounced socialism as you well know.
If you want to trace fascism back to Rousseau and Robespierre fair enough, but if so, we could and should go much further back in time.
It's only 'intrinsically linked to the left' if you subscribe to the horseshoe theory and the only 'problem for the left' is summed up by Not the Pars here ....
1Well the HST does try to close the circle. I think my opinion of Mao et-al would be widely accepted by dispassionate readers. I don't think you can go back much further than French revolution as they wrote it down as a political philosophy. Their chief policy was "The Terror" i.e. Virtue, without which terror is destructive; terror without which virtue is impotent.
To link killing with virtue. Is this what NTPs is advocating? Virtue is its own reward. Otherwise, why do virtue signallers virtue signal? Only a disturbed mind could link virtue with killing. Coercing people with violence is wrong. That is why capital punishment was abolished in the UK. It was not abolished in the USSR or China.
Mussolini denounced orthodox socialism for failing to recognise that WW1 had made national identity- Nationalism- and loyalty more important than class distinction, and to pursue his new political philosophy. i.e. Fascism

The Nazis pretty much invented privatizations.
They flogged off all the state assets accumulated by the Weimar government to their industrialist backers dirt cheap. 50 years later Thatcher would do the same thing.
Thatcher sold the nationalized companies to the public.

I think you got that mixed up. It is the ideology of a party members that defines its policies.

The nazis were socialist is the kind of argument I'd expect banana to make.
I think we would both agree that Nazis were and are Fascists. The problem for the left is the first fascist's thinkers were people like Rousseau, Robespierre and Heber et-al. They were the first to institute Terror as a means of control counter-revolution and dechristianization, and favoured the direct intervention of the state in economic matters. Just like the Russian and Chinese Communists. Believe it or not, the French Revolutionary Committee of Public Safety advocated the requisition of wine and grain. Imagine a life where access to alcohol was controlled by the Government. Mussolini was an intellectual socialist and a fascist. Hitler was a right-wing socialist and a fascist. Stalin and Mao were communists, socialists and fascists. Robespierre et-al were fascists, So the left is intrinsically linked to Fascism.

National Socialism =/= Socialism. It's a completely different ideology.
What about the National bit? Do you mean, one is worse than the other, or one is better than the other?

The Trade Unions and the Communists were their biggest rivals. Nationalsozialismus translates as National socialism. So Nationalists and socialists.

Sorry Champ - that's wrong. Let's hope you don't get a visit from HMRC. The reality is that you should only be getting around £100 - 150 a year.
I'm sure it was an honest mistake, but now I've told you, continuing to claim at the incorrect rate could be seen as being fraudulent.
I'll tell my accountant. Of course I claim it back monthly so the HMRC know and are happy to cough up.

I’m sure you know this, as you are in business, but you can’t claim VAT back at 40p a mile. You are entitled to 1/6th of the fuel element of the 40p, which (depending on size of engine and fuel type) will be somewhere between 12p and 18p. So, 2p or 3p a mile.40p per mile on my car. I claim vat back at 11p. Brilliant. No thanks to the gruesome twosome

If you don't like paying tax, don't use roads, demand to pay the difference on subsidised travel, power etc. Or form a political party and try to get into power and run the country at the level of taxation & kind of society that entails.
Why should I care. I have the Barnett Formula to take care of my needs.
