A dreadful display where we only turned up for the last 15mins, but by then it was far too late and truthfully we didn’t deserve a thing from the game. The entire defence were all over the place, midfield could barely string a pass together, and Goodwillie offered nothing up front on the few occasions he actually received the ball.

Our strongest 11 can easily compete with any team in this league, but once injuries and suspensions start to creep in it doesn’t take very long at all for us to get found out. The majority of our squad players are simply not good enough for this level (and a couple of regular features too I might add), which is a major cause for concern.

Peterhead should have been out of sight by half time, controlled the second half until we somehow pulled a goal back, and by the end of the game had resorted to complete gang antics when we looked most likely to level.

DGW hooked and Johnston taken off with a knock the icing on the cake. Fortress Broadwood has very much became fiasco Broadwood recently, and if we keep up this kind of performance then it’s going to be a very long winter.

    Absolutely dire stuff.

Doubt he was paid enough to pay off his Mortgage but definitely must've got a few quid out of it.

Who said “ why are we still talking about Tom Lang?” Oh yeah...... you 😉

I doubt the agent forced him to leave Clyde- he wanted full time football- he had injury issues at the start- broken bone in foot- complicated wisdom tooth issues- then when breaking through- caught a bad hamstring injury which he is currently still recovering from. True- he wasn’t first team automatic choice and may even have been misled by Steve Crawford- given squad No 3 and used in a lot of pre season PR. I have a feeling if their CB who is long term injured - had been fit we may have got him back on loan in September.
Hindsight makes life a lot easier to comment on and I’m sure another season with us would have been beneficial for the player and us but not his bank balance.

I feel sorry the way things have worked out, but I’m not sure a personal attack on his agent is justified in this case.

Not been to broadwood for a couple of years. Where do i go, just pay for ticket at gate?

Entry: Home fans should enter via turnstiles D, E and F and away fans via turnstiles A and B. Turnstiles will be open from 2pm for contactless payment by credit or debit card. Apple Pay and Google Pay will also be accepted. Any fans wishing to pay by cash should go to the ticket window, which is situated adjacent to turnstile C.”

Eh....not according to the vote in April 2013, they weren't.

    Poor attempt at revisionism.

Where did the suggestion of the name change come from? Was it offered by Clyde as a deal sweetener with the East Kilbride people or was it a deal breaker demand from the East Kilbride side of the table?

Whilst we are on it, the Board need to grow a pair if Thistle ask permission. The answer is no he is contracted. End of story. Anything else is amateur hour.

You must know the details in his contract- we all know he’s contracted for 21 more months- be surprised if not a clause to let him move up divisions.

If not it’s surely pretty simple, jog on PT

yup if you try putting 100 quid on they would close the book

so nobody knows anything ? really

Somebody knows something- a vacancy has arisen at a Club our manager has strong ties to- his name is being published widely in the media as being a favourite to be offered the job.

It’s a full time role which is clearly Danny’s preference given we publicly declared an intention to make his job with us a full time position when possible.

interestingly one of the other names mentioned in relation to the vacant job, Kenny Miller has declared no interest.

No such claim so far from Danny. Just my opinion, but I’d say there is a very real possibility he’ll go.

I’d be delighted if he stays like everyone else I imagine, but I’m bracing myself.

The effort to for a Raith Rovers supporter to pitch up on this thread with that comment was hardly worth it- have a very pleasant evening.

Aye, that's some amount of effort he's put into posting that comment on a Clyde thread, on a forum, that can be accessed by simply moving 1 thumb.

Especially when there’s another 9 to choose from

Didnt say he was off form mate. Just hes due one of those games where everything hits the back of the net!

To be fair - the insinuation was that he’s not been doing as well as he could be-

He was on crutches not so long ago and not fully match fit-  the stats CFUK quoted are actually incredible all things considered

Think Clyde played Stranraer last year, and won 3-1 at Stair Park. I'd be hoping for something similar particularly with a number of attacking options available.

Heard on SoccerFM: Stranraer have been struggling for numbers. But really Clyde NEED to win this, and build on recent performances.

    Clyde 2-1 (Love & Goodwillie)

    More convincing I think, 3-0

Speaking as someone who knows next to f**k all about the inner goings on at our club, it seems to me that "insider info." is only objectionable when you've not heard it verbally from another fan in the stands.

For some reason people posting the same information on Twitter or P&B get crucified.

I enjoy all Clyde rumours and gossip. Even the *95% that turns out to be pish.

*I overheard by a director stating that exact percentage while peeing at the urinal next to me in the Arria toilets.

Would that be referred to as elitist pish?

Heard Australian one not happening; the international clearance thing was so he could play as a trialist v Celtic Colts. No idea on the other guy. TL didn't want to come back on loan, then changed his mind, but by that time Dunfermline wanted to keep him because of injuries.

A grain of truth in everything- but this is innacurate.
