On the *** note, I've not seen the reason for McInnes turning down Rangers in the press or social media etc. One of our directors told me that he rejected them after being offered less money than the £900k/yr he is on with us. There is a termination clause in his contract which safeguards the club financially in the event of parting company.
I don't think the fans really have an issue with his previous employers, more that the style of play has been utterly horrendous for the past 18 months. Most folk could deal with that when the team was picking up results, but our luck has ran out and we seem to have lost the ability to keep clean sheets. We were lucky St Mirren didn't put four past us FFS. It's only the end of September yet we are effectively reduced to only competing for the Scottish Cup for the remainder of the season.
The players signed over the last two windows have left a fair amount to be desired, but they are crippled by McInnes' tactics. Why sign players only to play them out of the positions they have played for their entire careers? That comes down to either arrogance or ignorance. Constantly sitting in and playing square balls from one defender to another is horrific to watch. We have a squad full of attackers yet set the team out most weeks to sit in and defend. Not having a go at teams at home is hard to accept. Instead of worrying about the opponents, we should really be setting out our team to let them worry about us!
The argument a lot of people make is the "where were we before him" and "who will we replace him with"? There is no doubt McInnes has done a good job at bringing the club into the 21st century, but to say we couldn't attract another decent manager on that sort of money is wrong. From the position the club was in when he took over, the only direction possible was upwards. The board are reluctant to give him more money for transfer fees as he has squandered the majority of the money he has been given during his tenure.
I really hope we can turn things around but a bad result at the weekend is going to massively increase the pressure on him. One of the worst parts of this situation is the growing apathy amongst our support. The amount of people who have simply stopped going to Pittodrie and stopped caring as a result of our style of play and results is only going to increase.
Derek McInnes on £900k/year at Aberdeen hahahahahaha

Bit selfishChris routinely sends his best players to represent the select squads with no regards to what effect that has on Eastfield, fair play to him. If only more managers shared his opinion.

Doesn’t look the best, all the rain won’t have helped. Probs for the best that the game was off.

Central league rapidly declining. Few more clubs likely to go in the next few weeks I hear as well. The standard of the lower divisions are only helped by a couple of new clubs with decent pedigree. The top league is littered with disciplinary issues.
Disciplinary issues?

I must be honest I am gobsmacked at this being the case I have had many dealings with David Ramage in the past and the guy has always been a gentlemen but if you say there are teams saying this then Wal.
I can assure you of one thing though we will not be folding this has just made us all even more determined. We would have had no issue if with this as long as the league would have told us we will now be taking legal advice and going to safa mainly regarding the timing of the whole thing.Get the club lawyers involved

Bit of a disparaging comment there mate. I understand it maybe just your opinion, and you are entitled to one, but when , if ever, did you last watch Stedfast ? or last seen Craig play ?
Well from what I’ve seen on here and on Twitter Beattie ended up playing centre back for Elgin which isn’t a good sign

What’s our predictions for the leagues this season then ?
Premier wide open and probably 5 teams all think they have a chance of winning, but think the winner will come from Bannockburn or Eastfield.

The finalists will come from the CSAFL
Agreed, the class of teams is too high for teams from other leagues to trouble. Think the exodus from Colville will also let other teams in the Central strengthen.

1b is as strong a league out there in amateur football (Glasgow anyway).
Gartcosh will win 1a if they have most of squad from last year, doesn’t make sense to have so many strong teams in 1 division like 1b, it could end up with team winning league only winning quarter of their games the teams are so closely matched.....interesting indeed
Think the leagues were drawn at random? Fairest way to do it IMO, just unlucky for the teams involved the way it’s worked out.

Looks to be a really competitive league on paper, Doune and Milton both announced new management recently, them along with Kilsyth should be the front runners I think.

Pennies have shat all over the SAFL here, only league who took a chance on them and this is the thanks they get.

Scottish Cup dress re hearsal 2ngt , got to fancy Colville by a couple of goals. Was surprised to see Eastfield lose on monday to Steins but then maybe a weakened side out with the cup games in mind.
Harestanes v Bburn aswell , Burn still with an outside chance of the league have to keep winning.
Great night for watching a game aswell.
Mystic redondo strikes again

You would assume Sauchie wouldn’t have that much to do to gain a license but do they really want to push for one?
Were they even keen on the whole EOS set-up in the first place?

As I stated last night I’m nothing to do with the club so my option on the matter is irrelevant but if u ask redondo I’m sure he will tell u he knows everything else about pennies !! bottom line is they have been accepted into the safl that’s where they will play next season regardless of who is accepted into the central now is of no interest to pennies.
Well you obviously know the “rumoured reasons” so why not share?

Never mind league set up and teams folding.... who is picking that Scotland side???
They should be put Doon!
Theres a good few in there who would struggle to get a game with Pub Teams!
Miller - Colville
The Weasel - St Patz
Granty - Bburn
Just to name a few who should be in the squad surely!
Bring Back Bruce!
Every player in that side would walk into 99% of clubs in the country

At least the guys that run Pennies can pay players at Syngenta where it’s actually acceptable.
