I know kier knapp as a player as well if not better than most on here, I've lots of friends who are from shortlees and they're good guys who are best pals with the guy, he's a very talented player who will do well junior, but as said lots of junior defenders will be up to speed with him, he won't be a Ronaldo or Messi.

Kier knapp is a top notch amateur, as top notch as you will find, he also has all the ingredients to be a top junior player, but not one that will single handedly take the juniors by storm, there are loads of very junior defenders who will see to that, as for the so called Darvel legend he will just continue to make a fool of himself on here at every turn - hence this thread being so lively non stop....

He's a great manager for Me, he's won my club the scottish junior Cup for the only time in our history , 2 super premier division titles, a West of Scotland cup, an Ayrshire cup and evening Times Cup winners cup and three runs in the scottish senior cup when some junior clubs have never managed it, as for the thread having nothing to do with me-it's an open forum and I never knew that you could only post on your own teams threads only. We get it...... You went to Darvel and had a wee love in with them behind the scenes and now think that they're all great...... When in reality tubes like Darvel legend on here are very horrible to say the least...... Just you continue the love in though....

A wee bit of advice to mick Kennedy, you don't see the great junior managers like tucker and jonny millar coming on to this hellish place and debating and commenting, keep quiet and do your talking via managing junior players and Darvel, If and when you claim the prizes then that will be all the talking you need to to do.

No junior ground could host the scottish junior Cup final, if any possibly could then there's a terrible attendance for a final. Most senior pitches get relaid but If available I think firhill is perfect closely followed by St mirren Park and cappielow.

I would have the final at linlithgow roses ground, a proper junior ground and a proper junior venue........ sorry wait a minute it's no longer just like our junior cup isnt quite any longer.

You will struggle to meet a nicer guy than kev both in life and in football, was brill with beith and read the game so well, he always took loads of time to speak to fans and even when we won the league and Scottish Kevin was straight across with the trophy to one of our fans who was wheelchair bound, even when Kevin never played he was always a good influence and didn't sulk, I'm sure he will be a good addition to darvel.
