Actually think his recruitment of late has been well and truly horrific, and to me it’s the main reason we are in this mess. In the past 3 windows it’s a genuine struggle to name more than 2 players who are a clear success. His recruitment in the past was fantastic, but recently it’s felt like he’s gone fully for quantity over quality. The amount of signings we’ve made that have barely even played is genuinely hilarious. Crying about budget while Tom parkes rinsed our club for 3 years straight, goncalves and Bitsindou another 2 top earners last year too, no wonder our budget was so f*cked this year.

It’s like we showed some promise in attack for the first time a while, and were catastrophic at the back, so his solution is to keep the same shitshow in central defence and replace the attack??

Similarly had heard the headbutt story a good amount of time before the departure. Actually think a lot of our early success this season was reliant on de Lucas, motm several times. In a back 5 he was able to play aggressively chasing interceptions and stepping high, still has one of the highest amounts of interceptions in the league despite barely playing in the last few months. Very quick for a cb which allowed him to recover from his quite regular errors. Not sad to see him or Parkes go though, as I’m praying we will finally change our shape.

To get attacking players on the park we need to bin the back 5, it hasn’t even improved us defensively, instead we just concede and don’t score

Tad early for the pre contract talks surely? But never know. It’ll be some laugh when we lose penrice and anderson in January anyway

It’s wet and miserable but nothing out of the ordinary here. Martindale to claim the conditions limited his tactical masterclass, and that a 0-0 is a historic result worth celebrating across the globe.

Pretty sore one to take, improved performance but again waiting for us to be 1-0 down before we show any real attacking threat, not the way to go about scoring goals and winning games.

Don’t think either team has done enough to deserve the win, draw probably a fair result, but fair play to Dundee the only bit of real top individual quality has won the game here.

Same as last week, not much in first half, Dundee come out 2nd half flying and we really struggle to deal with them

Don’t get me wrong tynecastle is a hard place to go, and I’ve seen some heavily defensive set ups from us over the years but wow. Hearts had won 2 league games all season before last night. You’ve got to put some pressure on them or the relentless game of attack Vs defence will only ever end one way. Next game 4-2-3-1 with a front 4 of anderson, nouble, Kelly/Bradley, Mackay. Every fan would rather we lose having a go, the way we lost last night was pretty embarrassing

Would say 8-9 players looked well off the pace yesterday, thought penrice amongst the chaos of the rest of the back line did well first half with Armstrong atleast. Put a lot of blame on George at the time but having seen the goals back I don’t actually think there’s much he can do. He needs to start coming to claim crosses and having more of a presence back there could only help our defending, needs to improve in this aspect. And I can’t really find it in me to blame Anderson for anything, ball hoofed up to him against 3 CBs for 80 minutes. The one real bit of service where we needed him happened to be right after we took him off and the ball got rolled across the face of goal, of course with no real goal threat on the park nobody else was there. Pretty absurd sub taking him off, thought majority of the substitutions were wrong yesterday.

That was brutal, county, stJ and killie away performances all so far off the level required. The team we finished with looked like it was selected by a raffle, bizarre subs.

It’s a weird one, think most livi fans would take a point now especially with Devlin out, despite only having defeats to the old firm this season I think most of us are still a bit unconvinced and unsure of what to expect from our team. We just really lack any creativity and obvious attacking game plan, it’s been a pretty tough watch since hibs away. The st mirren and aberdeen home games are probably most comparable to this, where we did play pretty doggedly and aggressively, eventually ended up controlling a lot of the game but didn’t create enough to warrant a win.

Even if a lot of the players are ill, what sort of message does it send to them when the manager goes away for the full week on a training course? Clearly not got his head in the game for the fight needed….
