Actually think his recruitment of late has been well and truly horrific, and to me it’s the main reason we are in this mess. Would say 8-9 players looked well off the pace yesterday, thought penrice amongst the chaos of the rest of the back line did well first half with Armstrong atleast. Put a lot of blame on George at the time but having seen the goals back I don’t actually think there’s much he can do. He needs to start coming to claim crosses and having more of a presence back there could only help our defending, needs to improve in this aspect. And I can’t really find it in me to blame Anderson for anything, ball hoofed up to him against 3 CBs for 80 minutes. The one real bit of service where we needed him happened to be right after we took him off and the ball got rolled across the face of goal, of course with no real goal threat on the park nobody else was there. Pretty absurd sub taking him off, thought majority of the substitutions were wrong yesterday.

That was brutal, county, stJ and killie away performances all so far off the level required. The team we finished with looked like it was selected by a raffle, bizarre subs.

Think Devlin will slot back into defence and Sean Kelly will be pushed back into midfield alongside holt.

It’s a weird one, think most livi fans would take a point now especially with Devlin out, despite only having defeats to the old firm this season I think most of us are still a bit unconvinced and unsure of what to expect from our team. We just really lack any creativity and obvious attacking game plan, it’s been a pretty tough watch since hibs away. The st mirren and aberdeen home games are probably most comparable to this, where we did play pretty doggedly and aggressively, eventually ended up controlling a lot of the game but didn’t create enough to warrant a win.
