Don’t actually think we need another striker, but think we are crying out for a good quality winger. Summer recruitment has been very poor, hopefully it’s just a case of players settling in. As it stands the squad is weaker than it was last year. Lost Bailey and Forrest and haven’t replaced their goals with anyone else.

Pretty sure fitzwater is suspended for this due to bookings in the group stage. We saw the absolute calamitous defending we were left with without him in the 2nd half against aberdeen. Not sure who it was but Devlin was tripped towards the corner of the 6 yard box going to the byline, 100% a foul, was so close to it. Instead of going down straight away he tried to play on but had already lost his balance and couldn’t regain it, think if he goes down at the contact he gets it

Big call with Kelly and omeonga. What’s most surprising for me is that McMillan can’t buy a game, he was influential in midfield in our most successful part of our season. Seems like perhaps him and sibbald may have deals already signed elsewhere, martindale has a history of phasing players out towards the end of the season who are moving on.

Apart from that devlin and holt maybe had tough challenges but both won the ball well. Likewise you could claim for Davidson making no attempt at the ball being a red (good cynical challenge imo), and hendry booting the ball away already being booked, but not seen any livi fans mentioning it. It’s frustrating when every single time we come away from a game with Clancy as ref he’s the main talking point. It surely can’t keep happening? I feel like Soto has a good ability of holding the ball up and linking others into play with his passing, but we’re really yet to see any sort of goal threat from him

Not better than Adams or Dykes, but we need a 3rd striker, Bruce Anderson in fine form. There were similar shouts for Watt at the last break. Currently the best striker in the league for G/A per 90 this season. He’s a true poacher, with the majority of his goals coming from within the 6 yard box, something different to dykes and adams I’d say. Start the rumours now

That new Dutch boy is a complete and utter embarrassment for aberdeen, disgraceful. Booing the knee too, classy from dons fans as ever. Thought clancys whole performance was inept, lacked consistency and control. One of the worst refereeing displays this season. On the play itself, aberdeen controlled the ball in the first half but the sideways passing must be infuriating every week, offered no threat whatsoever. We started the second half very well but a bit of slack defending let the dons back in the game. Saw the rest of the game out relatively well, but needed some big blocks and some good goalkeeping to get there.

The first booking was nothing short of cheating by Mccart, couldn’t see second. As others have said though got to be much smarter at this level. Didn’t feel like the ref had a good came whatsoever, very inconsistent. As for the game fairly even, first half we were very poor and were lucky to go in level. Second half we started well but began to sit deeper, and poor defending by us throughout eventually let us down. A lot of players not at it today and we were punished for it, frustrating.

Yeah would be extremely stupid to let him go for pennies to a direct rival, would much rather he left on a free at the end of the season if it came to it.
