How the f**k Charlie Telfer seen 90 mins there I dont know. He was pish. I have pretty much reserved judgement on Denny Johnstone having not seen much of him. He is fucking brutal too.
The game was there for the taking as East Fife started to sink deeper but the only proper chance we had to win it was Longridge somehow ballooning one after he had made the space. All the rest... The final ball was too close to the keeper.
Mark Durnan is a fucking bombscare. How Toshney has been dropped for him I have no idea.
Cammy Bell deserves a mention too for a couple of very good saves.
East Fife definitely the best team I have seen play us on League business so far, but I didnt see too many needles threaded frkm sixty yards. They just looked a bit more organised and game for it than the other dross we have seen.
McKinnons only attempt to win that game being to replace the strikers is murder, specially as DJ did nothing better than either of the two that went off.
Tidser or McShane for Telfer next week IMO.

Would give my left nut to have McShane back. He'd waltz in to our midfield and in all honesty we haven't had a CM as good as him since he left.

Keepers better than average in this league. Right back clueless but full of effort left back has been midfield bunch of one paced nobody’s teller and tidser overhyped both pish so far . Long ridge has had a labotomy in fife and the dwarf has no pace or goals in him . Up top we are a joke the two big guys are done and the McManus guy is one paced and half hearted. The rest couldn’t get a game for most teams in this league. Personally I don’t buy the quality bit we have no energy pace or guile and look perfectly at home in the third tier. Who’s fault is it “ the guys who call the shots and the fans who keep paying” now I’m not a fan of the manager but imagine turning up every day to your job knowing the the owners want out , rumor has it they are selling to an asshole who will almost certainly bin you and your mate. The players know it and wonder what they have signed up to and there as much enthusiasm for the job as the labor party hold for Boris.

We’ve seen the quality against Dumbarton. For some reason that’s been it. These players should undoubtedly be enough to take us up. We pack the middle of the pitch and have no width meaning we can’t show any effective pace. For me McKinnon just has to go with no buts. Unbeknownst to some of your more ignorant supporters, there's some decent sides down here that'll fight with everything they have to bloody the noses of the supposed "scalps".

Your play from midfield to forwards was terrible. Whenever you got someone deep, into a corner, your crosses looked dangerous, otherwise it was either lob a cross from 30 yards out on the wing into the box or try to move the ball/drive through the middle and lose possession. Defending was average or so, with some crazy mental erros, two of which gave away penaties. Goalie looked pretty good.
With the exception of Dumbarton that’s been pretty much it so far. The man is so tactically inept its crazy he’s lasted this long.0 -

We have exactly 16 players eligible and healthy for the game...take out the extra goalie and we have 14 players for 10 spots, this is our second string!
