  1. 3-5-2 (maybe slightly different) with McGuffie LWB and Williamson RWB. Miller and Telfer in midfield combining brilliantly with Keena up top. Morrison looked to be roaming. Weathered a storm first 10 then hammered Fifers all the way to HT. CBs looked to be on a dribbling ban and it worked well. Lemon still not ready but we hit the post, Mehmet for Fifers made 2/3 great saves. Changes rung at 55 minutes or so just after they equalised but up until then we looked stronger defensively. Everyone had clearly defined roles. They knew what to do and didn't look like conceding often. Complete opposite from what we've seen all season. Headless chickens not having a clue to actually looking like a team. Hetherington there but not playing or part of subs. Not sure if he's injured
  2. In other news, Falkirk played very well in a bounce game against Dunfermline yesterday. Drew 1-1 and should've been out of sight in the first half. Played a new formation and looked a different team. There is hope
  3. Surely this is all just speculation and people are getting themselves all sound up about something we have no idea how is going to pan out. I for one am feeling optimistic for the first time in years. We'll see what happens cause let's face it, no one knows how it's going to go
  4. Why do you bite? Every time someone has come back at you, you've bitten. Also, this daft notion about Falkirk fans being illiterate, is patter at its poorest. It's just throwing insults for the sake of it. Have a bit more decorum. The point to be made here initially was that everyone seems a bit obsessed with what Falkirk are doing these days. We've taken our ribbing for going down (good job). Yes, we deserved to go down, yes we poached the manager, yes it's a bit ironic and funny he got us relegated. I find it funnier that although all of this happened, we've still managed to attract a lot of Morton's players to a league lower. So, forgive us for giving some back.
  5. Morton fans seem to be utterly obsessed with a team who are one division lower than them. Maybe they should stick to their own thread rather than trying to rip into us for signing half of their team. It's cute they are so interested in our dealings. Anyone know who Morton have signed so far? I sure as hell don't
  6. I think McKinnon is trying to build a squad where we have guys sticking around for more than 2/3 months. I'm ok with the 2 year deals. Continuity is the key. He's building for the future. We want to win this league 1st time of asking then consolidate next season with a mid table finish, and build from there. As someone else said, he's getting a nucleus from which to build. This team needs to have similar faces around for 2/3 years so we don't make over 20 signings a year like we have for the past 2. (may be exhaggerating, I don't know the numbers but they are astronomical)
  7. Who offers people square go's these days? Pathetic child
  8. Can't help who I work with! Worth mentioning Por-ton is clearly feeling a little insecure that Falkirk (league one team) are taking Morton's best players. It would make me sick too. Poor baby
  9. I know more than a few Morton fans who are gutted to see Buchanan go so don't talk pish. He was the best player on the park at the Falkirk Stadium at the end of the season, and brilliant on the Friday night game. Tidser must be a sore one, he's chosen League One football over Morton. Ho ho
  10. Two great signings. Buchanan was arguably one of the best defenders in the league last year. Delighted with this start. Let's hope it continues
  11. Top shagger - lad! Ps... No one cares. This is a football forum and his wine and dining antics has nothing to do with our club
