  1. Morton general manager, Dale Pryde-MacDonald, says in the Greenock Telegraph today, "We should have communicated about a fortnight ago, as to what the capacity was going to be on Friday." "That probably is going to be what the capacity is going to be when there's a live TV game here" So, it looks like a capacity of less than 7,000, for the game against Heart of Midlothian.
  2. A thoroughly deserved Morton win. Great for the club. Will take Morton verses anyone at Cappielow, in the next round.
  3. Should have been 2 or 3 ahead before the Arbroath goal and the penalty miss. No problem with Imrie saying, that Shwake "has to be switched on and his concentration levels have to be high". Personally, I would not have added, "That's not the first time this season, he's cost us points ".
  4. Thank you Mr McGraw. I wasn't fortunate enough to see you play for Morton, however I remember you as a manager, who always did, what you thought was best for Morton. A legend on and off the pitch. R.l.P.
  5. Depressingly predictable result and performance.
  6. Morton 'defending', shouldn't be on TV, before 9pm. Defensive problems, have been obvious since the start of the season, and David Hopkin, really has to get it sorted out.
  7. Van Schaik released. Regrettable for the player. Necessary for the club.
  8. Palpitations from the defence during the first half, and an inability to take the chances created. Defensively less terrible after the break. Third was no surprise as Partick capitulated. Certainly no dull games watching the Ton this season.
  9. Spirited performance against Hibernian, with some encouraging signs. The defence can be politely described, as a work in progress, and need to improve ASAP. Where is VAR when you need it for Hibernian's third and fourth goals?. Referee and assistants clearly needed a video to help them.
  10. We would be going into this, with a chance of a top 4 finish, if we hadn't gifted Alloa 9 points. However, the one positive, is that those points we gave Alloa, mean that Falkirk look like landing in the seaside leagues next season.
  11. Need to win. Absolutely. Must. Not. Lose.
  12. The Crawford Rae interview with the Greenock Telegraph last week was no coincidence. The club published accounts on 1st March, which states at point 2-Going concern, 'The directors are working on budgets for 2019/20 season, to establish the level of overheads which would result in a break-even position for that year'. Furthermore at point 8-Material uncertainty relating to going concern, 'if the company is not able to reach a break-even position, then a material uncertainty exists, that may cast a significant doubt over the company's ability to continue as a going concern'. Worrying times.
