So your position is that the board are wise enough to pick a manager but if they pick the one they have already got they are dimwits? And you're entitled to carp and criticise but if anybody asks you for an alternative that's not your job? Makes me wonder why anybody would want to be on an FC board. The only theory I can come up with is that they must love the club and have very thick skins.

Well said. It's easy to criticise when you don't know all the facts and don't have the responsibility. In the end the board are fans too. Why would they do it otherwise?

I would be surprised if someone could go back in the records and find a previous 6-0 that was 0-0 at half time. That's how flukey it was.

Yes it does tend to cloud over things initially, but whatever we do in life we all have our 0-6 days. It is not 'all that matters'. What matters is that we pick ourselves up off the floor and get behind the team. There's only a month to go now. The first half showed what they can do. We need to cheer the team over the line.

There seems to be a lot of panicking on here. Before JH arrived we seemed to be invariably 2-0 down before the 20 min mark. Saturday's first half was great and there's no way he could have known they would lose a quick goal in the second so he needed to prep them up about resilience and bouncing back. We can all be brilliant with hindsight. My main point is that right now we have 4 games to go. We need to get behind the team. Nothing else matters.

I believe JH is the man for the job. We need to get behind him. Carping is no good to anyone. JH did not dig the hole the club is in it was there when he arrived. He had a good record in his previous job so the notion he can't motivate a team is absurd. The team is miles better than when he arrived but their luck has been abysmal. The first half today was great. I don't know what JH said to them at half time but there is no way he could have foreseen how the second half was going to start so it's not his fault. If the first goal had come at the end of the first half rather than beginning of the second he would have got them sorted. The timing was just sheer bad luck again. I can't see Albion avoiding defeat in their next two games against Peterhead and Edinburgh. So that means they have 2 games left to save themselves and we have 4. So it's not all bad! Cheer up! (And so far as I am aware Jose Mourinho is unavailable).
