Why you surprised ? Glenburn am lead to believe are a top side

"You're lead to believe". So you've not see them then...? Sound.

I'm surprised because I've seen them both and I'd have picked Wishaw to beat them. But like Gav says, that's cup football for you...

Why are yous being made to replay this game?

Games cannot continue if a team has fewer than 7 players

Surely the team with fewer than 7 would forfiet the game though? So for talking sake, if you are getting beat you can just purposely get a few bodies sent off to get a replay??

Did anyone see this? 6-0 Castlemilk and the game got abandoned from what I can see on twitter. Motherwell down to 6 men? Unfortunately I opted for the Hurlford game.

I played in it. To be honest, you didnt miss much. Motherwell Thistle showed up with bare 11, one went off injured after 30 mins, we were 1-0 up and well on top. 3-0 at ht. They got a man sent off at 4-0 early in the 2nd half and they looked for any excuse to get the game abandoned, picking up other "injuries" not as exciting as it would seem from the outside. Wee bit embarrassing actually

Why are yous being made to replay this game?

Hurlford used to be a force mate but not now. Don’t think they’ve great rep on here for about 3/4 year now

It is what it is, would never hate on any team. Only know them from here. Mullen and the boy Eddie are Caviar but I thought the rest were average.

Watched the Hurlford game today, never seen them live before and hear them getting a good rep on here but honestly I wasn't  impressed. Their front 2 were class but the rest of their team were average. Obviously one game isn't enough to judge fairly, but wasn't enamoured on first impression.

During the 90 minutes it was a pretty even game. Only reason I can think of reason that it is to be replayed is that it has been appealed. I was standing with a few guys from the Ayrshire association and they also never heard the whistle being blown. The joys of amateur football.

Wel a few people were adament he blew the whistle as the guy had started his run up to the ball, A suppose they were supporting New Farm and would say that, but a lot of refs wouldn't have ordered a retake. Haven't heard anything about a replay a think eyeswideopen is on the wind up and has Doctored that on his computer

Why would they show one team winning on pens and then say it's to be decided by a replay? Makes no sense, I'm sceptical.

Planning to watch Motherwell Thistle Vs Castlemilk Dynamo, should be a cracker. However, having a few shandies tonight and Hurlford are playing over the back from me so might watch that instead - hangover dependant.

No wonder alot of lads dont want to play amateur football anymore. Guys just trying to get out the house/ keep fit/ play football with pals/ or enjoy their free time and they find themselves getting slagged or ridiculed all over social media and for forums for the privilege of paying to play football by some keyboard gangsters that likely hasn't played outside of the school playground.

Spot on, I only discovered this website long after I stopped playing. Glad it wasn't about when I played.

Leagues looking very competitive early on, great result for Fallin, beating bannockburn! Also a good result for uddingston taking points off harestanes, although be disappointed not to get all 3 being two goals up! Drumchapel Possil looking like real competitors too! Should be very exciting league campaign this year!!

Took the game in, Uddingston tried to keep it tight and hang on and ended up paying for it. Were playing some decent stuff too, think they would have won if they carried on trying to play.

  10. Anybody know the postcode for where the Harestanes vs Eastfield game is tonight? One twitter page says G66 3LL, the other says G66 3SN. Not too familiar of the area.

What’s our predictions for the leagues this season then ?

Eastfield for me. Fancy Harestanes to have a good season too, hopefully Uddy Anvil can stay up.

I take it you meant you took in both games today given you thought Bannockburn had a mare and Eastfield were excellent ?

My take being at Bannockburn game gifted 3 goals to a team who were hungrier first to every ball and killed game off after 20 mins after that game was played out with result never in question .

you can’t gift goals to a poor team never mind best team in country at moment .

congratulations to Colville ability,  hard work and desire wins leagues which was shown today in abundance.

Yeah, left after 3-0 so can't comment after that but 3 silly defensive mistakes cost them. Colville did well to capitalise, like you say can't afford to do that against a team like CP.

  13. Caught the Eastfield game today, some of their play in the middle of the park was excellent at times.

Bannockburn had an absolute mare, congratulations to Colville all the same.

You  appear to be Sandys official spokesman so why can’t you refuse Leafa’s decision and offer to play the game.

That gesture would go a long way in restoring Sandys standing in the amateur game.

This is never going to happen, don't blame Sandy's at all. Why would they?

But like Amateur said, neutrals are unfortunately missing out on a great game of football. Shame...

    Am I not right though?

What good reason do Danderhall have for refusing to play at the Jewel?

“Sandys never changed last week” That’s nothing to do with the game in question.

Danderhall left themselves wide open by refusing to play that game at The Jewel, and that’s why they lost the tie.

Seems like they should have played the system and used possible asbestos as a reason rather than point blank refusing to play, eh?

I think this sets a bad precedent that anyone can claim to have something wrong with their park for whatever reason and not need to provide proof of this.

Yous refused to play? Why did yous not book the jewel the day the original game was called off cos that was free that day? Danderhall offered to get changed outside , declined.

Danderhall offered to play the game at danderhall , declined.

Yous never had a team that day, we know it you know it and the association know it.

Why should danderhall roll over and play the game at castle view when There was no certificate presented to show the asbestos was fixed ? Danderhall as a club stood together and fought back, and have been punished .

Leafa as an association r a total embarrassment .

Don't have any affiliation with either team but this seems to be spot on to me. Danderhall are within their rights to ask for proof the issue was resolved, if this wasn't produced then they shouldn't be expected to play the fixture.

I also wouldn't have accept any alternatives offered purely on the principle that Sandys never accepted their alternatives (if this is the truth).

Should have just played it at a neutral location and problem solved, but to throw Danderhall out is awful from the FA.
