Morrissey has really let himself go.

    Thank you.

It takes strength to be gentle and kind".

Slink back under the rock your life-choice chose for you, sad Dab-boy.

"You just haven't earned it yet baby".

Weekend regards and I've also corrected your spelling my man.

  2. Charlie Adam makes his long awaited return, 3 points are secured, against in fairness an apparently rudderless opposition. This is not an entirely unexpected  coincidence, imho.

Regarding the strikers currently available, class finish from Leigh Griffiths as expected, superb to see Danny Mullen and his work-rate return earlier than expected and also Cillian Sheridan made a nuisance of himself up front when he came on this evening.

However, knowing James McPake has virtually pinned his future management career at Dens on Leigh Griffiths' being a success this season I would be very pissed off if I were the natural goalscorer also known as Jason Cummings.

Reminds me of a certain Iain Ferguson whilst at Dens, whose talent did not lie in backtracking or making any notable contribution outwith the final third, however give him service in the business area of the park and this would result in an attempt on goal!

More game time please for Jason Cummings, do your homework James McPake and utilise him to his strengths or he'll be gone.

    Thank you.

No, the argument was that mcinnes’ time was up, regardless of if we made a complete tit of the next appointment (we did).

Appointing a bad manager doesn’t make it the wrong decision to part ways.

Don't we know it my man, our John Nelms' has it down to an extreme fine art.

I'd still have Derek McInnes at Dens in a shot if I'm honest and be very grateful.

By all means enjoy it, Aberdeen, but enjoy it by being fucking disciplined.

Disgraceful display of spitting by your DAB manager in the technical area, as for the on-field Aberdeen display, enough said.

In fairness the ref was far worse than Glass's coaching ability. Time for Strictly now, concentrate now and watch the footwork.

    Hey @This Charming Man!

Although I do have a SUV 4x4 with a private reg, it is my actual name, not my user name and I haven't been near Blair Atholl lately. Wrong spy bud.

No worries @johnnydun, when I saw the vehicle I said to Mrs TCM that's either one of our P&B lads, or it's someone with a private reg that should be with a certain feller.

Anyway, have a good evening, we didn't lose today.

    A decent Saturday. Strange feeling!

You're not wrong guys, imagine if we actually were to win a league game, lol.

    Regards

Going off on a tangent, were you @johnnydun in Blair Atholl the other week, saw a SUV 4x4 which had a private reg plate virtually abbreviating your user name. (Won't repeat it obvs for privacy reasons).

Said it in the match thread after about 15 minutes but I’ll say it again in here: today is all on McPake. I’ve backed McPake up until now (and I’m not suddenly calling for him to be sacked after today) but he got it all wrong. He’s also came out and thrown the players under the bus, and while they were also pish, he has to take responsibility.

I for one, after two seasons plus, have had enough of his under-developed professional coaching progression.

James McPake can without doubt form part of an ongoing successful Dundee FC coaching staff, however not under any circumstances as the 1st team manager at this time, imho. This is reality, however distasteful it may seem to some.

We've had without doubt some positive performances this season with no deserved reward, 3 points from a possible 24 and a goal difference of minus 11 after 8 games tells a different story and is heading towards being relegation fodder long before the business sharp end of the campaign.

Merely my concerned opinion, yet again!

Only John Nelms' has the business answer and in the meantime we all wish James McPake good fortune.

  8. Convince Derek McInnes to be ably assisted by Charlie Adam would be my 1st choice.

Let's not delude ourselves, if not for Charlie Adam last season we were in very real danger of a relegation play-off spot before our late run of improved form.

James McPake and Dave MacKay have to go, all goodwill and hope has now evaporated and the bluffing cannot be allowed to continue. Otherwise we risk a season similar or worse to the Neil McCann/Jim McIntyre debacle, imho.

Now turning into a complete shambles, into October and still awaiting a league victory. Is it really so  unexpected if we're honest?

    Regards

Charlie to sit in the dugout, McPake in the stand with a walkie talkie. As soon as the game kicks off, Charlie switches the walkie to ‘off’.

Just watched Mrs TCM's beloved Stoke City win and outclass West Brom tonight. Our Charlie obviously watching also as his tweets are even highlighted on the Stoke Sentinal (local paper) live match report. Revered still by The Potters and rightly so.

We've obviously not scored even one goal since Charlie has been out injured, no one else possessing the killer pass, albeit we have been extremely unlucky. Let's see how the dug-out gig suits him, hopefully Dave Mackay sits with his best mate also up in the stand, lol.

Sir Charles will be 36 in December, let's provide some creative playing backup with Scott Allan signed permanently from Hibs in January.

3 points tomorrow, thanks in advance.

Utter shite from us and the better team won. Not one of our players wanted the ball and Dundee United dominated the middle of the park. Legszdins makes an arse of the goal and Sheridan has to score at the end but at the end of the day we’re were embarrassing.

    Thats all I’ll be saying.

    Thanks You.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^  Concur 110%, overall performance was embarrassing, especially 2nd half I'm afraid. Not a good day at the office!

It's one of the few things we do well, losing derby's, lol.

The problem with an early start is I can't finish the wine I'm drinking as I'll need a half bottle for breakfast.

Difficult one, good luck with your own answer to this conundrum my friend.

Fresh bottle tomorrow morning may be the only realistic remedy in my experience, lol.

    I wish!

Some c**t bleezin through Dryburgh just now shouting about United being shite. I'm guessing it's not @Szamo's_Ammo

I will be attending this for the first time as a new Granda, this however will not stop the profanities coming out my gob.

God-willing I'll be in the same position come early January, my gob however like yours, is for our sins Dark Blue and proud!

Congratulations though Johnny, all the best to you and your family.

    Cheers my man.

  12. Let's not neglect to forward our best regards to the best natural goal-scoring striker currently available between the two clubs and hopefully on display tomorrow for 90 minutes plus.

    Sleep well my man.

There’s a St Johnstone fan who is more boring than you, but you’re doing your best to play catch up.

Look foremost and focus in the mirror sad-old-dab. The clock is ticking until Sunday and you know it.

Even your own kindred Dab's mock you on P&B it would appear, and certainly do not disrespect unconnected passionate followers of another local club up the river.

Feel free @Granny Danger and @Gibby82 to respond with an intelligent response of course.

In the meantime let me raise a glass to Jim McLean, who was after all the true coach to our most recent cup winning squad at Dens Park. Back row, far right for the Dabs highlighted above.

    Sake was only joking lads.

Classy my man, small, ineffectual minds such as yours truly deserve to be hi-viz for life. Clicking on you, unless I'm mistaken you were 7 or 8 months old when your "chosen club" clinched the Premier League title in 1983.  Missed also the League Cup successes it would also appear, shame.

Have a good weekend and please attempt to remain positive in the aftermath on Sunday. Refrain also from bringing to attention fellers such as Jim McIntyre, a former manager, who last I heard was busily working as a personal trainer, located in Dunblane.

Didn't work out at Dens Park in professional football management, without Billy Dodds obviously, however in the real world the man has to earn an income for himself and his family. Yet, here you are, poking fun (only joking lads, to quote you) at one of your own, fucking shameful.

I’m hearing Jim McIntyre will be on the pitch again before the game, nice touch.

    36 minutes ago, RossDee01 said:

The good news is that he absolutely fucked any prospect of him ever getting another managerial job again

As a popular former wholehearted striker at Tannadice I can accept whatever the reason the home club have extended an invitation to the man.

However at the age of 49 you would foolishly assume Jim McIntyre may just have enough about him to realise he is being cheaply paraded as a figure of fun and ridicule regarding the opposition club on Sunday, where he recently oversaw relegation with an unparalleled record of 4 wins in 31 games.

Surely the home club have a duty of care towards their invited guests and their potential immediate mental health and wellbeing.

Absolute fucking appalling lack of class by Dundee United, however not totally unexpected.

I’ll happily say I always backed McPake and took some stick on here from most for doing so

    Thank You

Out of interest Ross and with all due respect, I revisited the match thread for the Alloa 3-3 game last November and you like many others, myself included may I add, were ripping James McPake up for shite-paper, rightly so at the time imho.

    Regards

PS, also agree 3-0 The Dees next Sunday.

Sorry to call you out @Fifespud, but were you not advocating Peter Grant to replace McPake last season? He's having a horror show at Dunfermline ooft.

In fairness, I recall the Friday evening live TV 3-3 draw at Alloa last season whereby the Alloa defensive collective showed more composure in possession of the ball than Dundee did in general terms overall.

A point only secured that evening due to the goals and mere presence of one Sir Charles of Adam.

James McPake did not know whether it was New York or New Year that evening, imho. Absolutely clueless he was, no mistake.
