Right, lift trophy and then away on holiday!
In September, I stood next to Mr McGlynn, at a zebra crossing on the Newcastle quays and left him alone, to enjoy his night out with the missus. And I realise now that I was in the presence of greatness.
A truly memorable season, made possible by a truly memorable team, and a truly memorable support. Thank you to every one of you!
p.s
Dear League 1, thank you for your hospitality but we won’t be back

Also best yellow card I think I've seen in a Falkirk shirt, what a GIRFUY.
I feel some merchandise ideas coming on!

50'Dylan Tait (Falkirk) is shown the yellow card for excessive celebration.

How wonderful it would be for Mr McGlynn and Callumn Morrison to win SPFL manger and player of the year respectively. Still expect an ugly sister to take each prize

If I'm lucky enough to acquire one of these when they go on sale (only 150 being made apparently!) it'll be getting framed.
Unrelated: Would also like to echo that I'd like to see the Est. 1876 return to the badge.
I think charging £100 would have still meant we’d sell out of them. Still expect a lot more commemorative merchandise to come out.
Wonder if there could be something done about postage and extra costs for orders outside of the UK. Ordering this season’s home shirt from Greaves Sports cost me £20 in postage and nearly £20 in customs fees.

Paul Hartley is absolutely seething
Ola hates you and so do we ya wee greasy p***k!
Now give him enough appearances for a medal.
His cover was blown (by himself) so he had to be brought in for de-briefing.
Give him a medal, a nomination for Player of the Year, his own table for life at Benny T's just for his tunnel antics!

I think it's been mentioned before but what prize money can we expect for winning the title?

He was inexplicably dreadful.
I think Mince made any worst XI from the days of the fanzine until The Experiment (2018), after which he would barely get a shout at the bench of the worst XI

Dancing around in the tunnel giving all the guys high fives and hugs with his Cove trackie on.
Give him a contract extension just for that - he loves being a Bairn, and we love all who love being a Bairn!

It's a refreshing change, knowing that we have people that want to continue playing for us

He’s clearly never been out of Glasgow. Typical lazy journalist.
The photos aren’t even from yesterday’s game! A lot of lazy people at the Daily Weedgie!

Big thanks to those who gave advice regarding the shirt. 2XL, a size up for me, was indeed ideal, although not a loose fit.
What was not ideal?
Twenty quid for international shipping, plus another 18 quid to let the shirt into the EU. Bought a Newcastle top, a Scotland T-shirt for the missus, a Scotland hoodie and paid nowhere near the exorbitant postal fees as I did with Greaves (and no customs fees)
Still, I have something new and blue for celebrating our promotion

I’m sorry but I have problems with my calendar.
Is it Christmas? Just today we’re getting quite a lot of gifts

Just watching the hightlights. Before anyone gets at me, yes I know everyone involved are volunteers and their service is much appreciated. BUT there is something fundamentally wrong with how the video is being processed for highlights. It's truely awful. It might look ok on a tiny phone screen, but on my computer the frame rate is so low and jerky it is very uncomfortable to watch. Surely it can't just be me that is experiencing this? What is going wrong here? It's as if whole bunches of frames are being dropped every second.
Also very appreciative of the volunteers running this service.
I enjoy the highlights, the commentary is excellent and far exceeds what was provided before (even though we do love Lewis).
However, moments like yesterday, I want to watch on the biggest, broadest, most obnoxious TV possible and that's when you really see the poor quality of the image. So I am resigned often to watching behind my laptop and that way it's less noticeable.
It's a minor inconvenience and soon, we'll be "oifis bogsa" on BBC Alba and the quality that brings - Sgoinneil!

Caught most of the game on Falkirk TV. Great performance. Still find it strange to use all 5 subs at once with a fair bit of time left but Alloa never looked in the game at all.
Do we change it up for TNS?
Nothing wrong with it, sending 5 subs on at once
I do it all the time when playing FC24

While we are revelling in the moment, I have a question.
It's time I got a new Falkirk shirt, so can someone confirm if the XL is more a loose fit or if it helps to buy 1 size up?

"I CAN'T SPEAK, I CAN'T SPEAK!" - priceless!
Also enjoyed during the season the regular use of the words "ridiculous", "is" and "that" (usually said in a different order, whenever a screamer of a goal went in).
Falkirk TV has come on in leaps and bounds, since the days of a certain commentator, incredulous at every throw-in, corner, pause in play. Thank goodness we'll not see that return.
All in all........did a no bad job of it!
