It would though because I wouldn’t expect a player to train Tuesday game Wednesday train Thursday, also lots of my players work shifts so if they are playing for select or Scotland on a Wednesday some of them would probably require a shift swap.

Tuesday’s n Thursday’s mate.

I can only speak for myself but I’d never try and tell our players to not play and they have always turned up when selected. I personally think Wednesday games where possible is way forward

Why can’t they play midweek?

Think most Selects are in the same boat tbh.
That’s a fair point mate but the central one is the only one I’m interested in.0 -
Hopefully the powers that be don’t do the usual and play the competitive games on a Sunday after big Scottish cup games, seems they never learn their lesson. Central select should always have pick of quality players but in the past the select manager has tended to go into these games missing key players he’s worked with in the warm up games. Hopefully not this time though.

Really sad day today if it’s the case that Colville have folded, when we joined the league in 2007/8 Drum Utd had just won the Scottish and were about to dominate with Colville Park doing there best to keep up with the great team John Black had but imo Colville were that club that teams envied with there tremendous pitch and great setup and committee that seemed like an institution at our level. Just goes to show you that when it comes down to it no club is safe from the type of issues that can lead to club going to wall. Feel for Andy and Joe who’ve givin so much to their club.

Took in eastfield v fallin today. Fallin struggling with injuries etc, even the manager had to go on last 20/25, but lucky it only finished 3-0, if eastfield had shooting boots on it could have been cricket score. Number 2 for eastfield best player by far. Top quality player
We were missing 8 ourselves yesterday with both our coaches no 5 and 15 having to play yesterday. First time we’ve had to use them this year, says a lot about the mentality of both clubs though as would have been easy to not play after Fallin pitch was off. Best of luck to Fallin look like they are a very ambitious well run club.0 -
Agree with Gav and Redondo comments but I also think to many guys running teams throw in towel to easily.
