  1. Thought the first half was quiet with not much action bar Forfars goal. Seemed to be a misjudgement from Fleming and its snuck in.

Second half was much better and we looked to want it more. Austin looked superb and won every flick on almost. The subs also gave us a boost and we were unlucky not to create more.

Happy enough with a point and it's 3 unbeaten for Campbell. Things are improving already.

A new low? I'm not so sure. Some of these East of Scotland clubs are well run and more than a match for our basement league plodders. As is the highland and lower leagues.

    Todays results prove that.

I'm sure Dunbar are in the EOS first division which is 3 leagues below League 2. Certainly a bad day for the club but not at all surprised. I've personally lost interest and wasn't there today but it seems we lost Easton and Page through injury. Things may get even worse.

Is it just me but watching the game tonight and see Craig Watson playing in the Championship with Airdrie.A few years ago he was playing with us, a good player but not first team pick .

How far have we fallen ? Darren Young was able to recruit some class players, Watson, Agnew , Meggat , Davidson , Dowds, Murdoch etc . Look at us now ,on the same budget. We are miles off it- the Board to blame?

This forum also reflects the lack of interest in our club. Once active and vibrant now feels dead and dull- like our club?

I was thinking the same mate. Even looking at other clubs like Montrose, Arbroath, Stirling etc have all improved whilst we've went backwards. Fair enough we've focused on young players and setup but there's still a lack of quality on the park.

Play to his strengths which are his speed and movement and he'll be a huge asset for you guys.  Needs a loan to get some real experience but he looked more than ready to be used as a regular sub for us so should hopefully play decent minutes for you guys.

Its difficult because we've got Shepherd who's a workhorse. We've also got Nathan Austin but has disappointed so far. We've got Healy and Nicol for wide men so it will be interested to see where he plays.

you think we are lighting it up just now ? 😂

Certainly not but 442 just hasn't worked. Our 2 best performances have been Queens Park and QOS. Even Raith game was a penalty and 40 yarder so the performance was good. The manager has then put absolutely everything to the side in order to get Shepherd and Fash playing together. Look at us now, no idea what the best team is, messing about with formations etc. I've never really been excited about Fash signing because he still has zero service without Alex Ferguson being replaced.

     I would go with :

                                                  -Fleming-

                         -Docherty-Murdoch-Easton-Newton-

                               -Nicol-Walls-McManus-Healy-

                                        -Shepherd-Austin-

If we ever turn up with this line up, we are doomed

My view since the league cup greig still is to find his best 11 I dunno that’s my take on this early stages. But if brogan the man should we not be using him, Healy, shepherd, shiavone, fash, page etc within the first 11.

elsewhere taylor stevens joined Alloa made some contribution last year thought he wasn’t bad off the bench either but he’s made step up onloan.

We also had Aiden Denholm playing wide or up top last season. He played CDM for Hearts against Rosenberg and was superb. Starting to think our management team are blind. Walls and Healy are our 2 creators and need to play every game. Healy needs to be on the left with Newton behind and Walls needs to be central. I'd honestly drop Fash at this stage and stick to players who ended last season well.

We need 6 points next 2 games or we will be chasing the pack all season just like last.

Losing any faith I had in the manager.

That starting line-up was baffling, effectively 3 centre backs to mark Matty Aitken and Healy at left wing back.

Brutal for 60 mins, aimless punts in the wind. McDonald eventually changed it and we should have equalised but if you don't take your chances...

It was the same against Dundee B. He's picked a rare time to start mixing and matching. Very poor today.

I see it’s being reported that Stirling Albion were  very unlucky to lose to a very good Aberdeen team last night.

We all enjoyed us , managed by Darren, beating the likes of Dundee Utd and Hearts a few seasons ago.

Stirling sit joint top of League 1 and we are joint bottom of league 2.

Time tends to make things clearer and reveal all. I suspect like many EF fans,Darren Young was not the problem- the Directors have made a huge mistake here-if so  who was specifically accountable for this really bad decision  ( The Chairman?).

How can we be confident that similar bad decisions will not be made ( have been made) in the future?

Maybe I am being unfair but it’s a question that should be aired.

It was clear to see that season that we had no money. We let most of the core players leave and we barely replaced them.

This season, we've not replaced Alex Ferguson and it will show👍 can you imagine where we would have finished had he not signed? Scary stuff.

What can we expect from Alex Ferguson, gents? We've just taken him on loan.

He had something like 28 goal involvements last season correct me if I'm wrong. Best numbers I've seen from any East Fife player in my 19 years following the club. He can thread needles from 40 yards and gives absolutely everything every game.

Agree with your points apart from Pat at left back ( Pat has also broken his leg).

Saturday was maybe a game too much  for Docherty, wouldn't be surprised to see  Murdo at right back  on Saturday.

I cant see us getting far with McManus and Trouten in a middle 2. Not enough energy there and McManus has no pace. We've been 4-3-3 for a while and it's worked well. This whole idea of getting Fash and Shepherd playing together up top isn't helping the rest of the team formation wise. We need another attacking midfielder like Fergie.

If you click on this link, the word 'here' is in gold, click on that and it takes you to a registration page to register on the Motherwell website, it just asks for an email address, new password, mobile number and address etc, it only takes 2 minutes. Click submit registration and it takes you into the ticket bit for away fans, EF are in the north bit of the Phil O'Donnell stand . You should be able to print the tickets at home.

Yes I've done all that. I've went to go back in and it doesn't ask for your email on login, it asks for a customer number which I never noted and now I have to contact the club. Who has a printer at home in this day and age btw?
