Notionally perhaps. The weather makes it moot.
Nobody controls the weather, but EoS and Wos at least have season fixture lists rather than the Juniors idea of making it up as they went along.

A season long fixture list would be nice, in yer own time.
This isn't the juniors. By the time season 2021/22 starts there will be a season long fixture list out.

16 previous meetings noted here: https://www.soccerbase.com/teams/team.sd?team_id=871&team2_id=832&teamTabs=h2h
All pre-WWII, Second division.
So the answer is no,as the Edinburgh City of today is not the same as the Edinburgh City of pre-WW2

How can you promote Leith and Heriot Watt if the season has been declared null and void ? BELTER
Need to do something. Can't have another season of conferences. The sooner we get a premier-1st-2nd-3rd structure in place, the better.

Edinburgh City getting rid of their 20s side and putting a reserve side into EOS league I believe.
They applied, nothing to say they will be accepted.

The basic point around a LL2 is that it would remove the bottle neck between Tier 5 & 6 in the Lowland as you could have 3up/3down like most divisions in the same league set up.
Whereas Lowland with WoS/EoS/SoS underneath is unlikely to see 3 teams promoted from the Tier 6 leagues anytime soon.
Then you'd have a bottle neck between tiers 6-7 if you had a LL2.

While I think that's right. Since it was even considered feasible under the Junior structure 20 years ago. I would probably have the 1st Division be split North/South.
There's the numbers there that would have the South Division go no further North than Aberdeen. Then the North Division would cover the same area that the North Juniors do at present.
Otherwise a 2nd Division would largely be trips to Moray and lower level Tayside teams. Meaning the smallest teams make the longest trips.
I actually meant to say that, 1st division north/south don't know why I typed 1st and 2nd divisions.

Simple solution, Tayside clubs join with the North Region, making 3 divisions for a new "NoSL" .
Premier Division,1st and 2nd divisions. Premier winners then playoff against NCL champions for promotion to HFL. Of course it will be a few years until any playoff winner is licensed and eligible for promotion.
EDIT: or a standalone Tayside league where the winners then playoff against the North region and NCL champions.

Steady. Inch Park is half an hour away from Dalkeith on a direct bus or half that by car, hardly west Glasgow to Alloa.
It's not even half an hour if you get the number 3 bus.

Craigroyston have made some cracking signings. they've signed Ryan Currie from Leith Athletic who will be a great addition . Kai Wilson another decent signing.

Having moved back to Edinburgh six months ago I'm looking forward to even longer journeys just to get to home games at Merksworth Park.

The structure is already in place? I must’ve missed that statement?
So how many teams get relegated in year 1?
Do the 3 conference winners get automatically promoted?
Do the winners of the premier get automatically promoted to the LL or is there a playoff ?
I can answer your last question.....No they won't be automatically promoted. Do the EoS or Sos champion get automatically promoted? No they have a playoff, the same thing will happen with the WoS champion, Something we have known for ages.

At the end of the day there is more important things in life than complaining about ppg. Let's just look forward to next season (whenever that may be.)

Conferences are100% avoidable when you only have 4 new teams entering
You don't though, you have 67 new clubs in a NEW league.

They wouldn't know the answer unless they had applied..........30th April is the EGM to consider new applicants.
All the same, the tweet posted is clearly answering the question asked. Not a statement saying they've applied. Once again I'm not saying they haven't applied, they probably have.

I dont think its anything to do with number of SPFL relegation spots, its more to do with having licensed teams able to get promoted. Without checking I think there has only been 1 promotion play off since the LL started (Kelty vs Threave) and on a fair number of years no licensed champions of EoS or SoS. Im fairly certain if there were license teams missing out on promotion year on year due to the play off they would do something about it.
Also Bonnyrigg

Really? Looks to me they're just answering a question. That's not to say they haven't applied.

Again the treatment of Bonnyrigg doesnt fill me with hope that the Lowland league will be considered as an equal partner on the pyramid scale. With Hearts, along with Partick and Stranraer all potentially facing relegation, how are Brechin safe from dropping out of league 2.I would be seriously unhappy for fans and players at Bonnyrigg who could still have won the division with 5 home games to play and one in hand. Its the same old story of the top leagues protecting what they have, and my fear it will continue when more ex junior clubs reach the Lowland league.Relegation from league 2 must be changed to at least 2 up 2 down, to make pyramid fairer.
Because Brechin are not in a relegation spot, they're in a playoff spot. Since playoffs have been cancelled in all division then they cant be relegated who would be promoted? LL champion or HL champion?
