How poor was the ref?
Saw that the first penalty was harsh, any truth in that?0 -
To be ahead until the 77th is a great achievement from the lads.
Hearts (who are 7 places below Livi) pumped Airdrie 5-0.
Surely a good sign...0 -
Did Bravo Davo give away both?

Davo again?

Robert Sloan seen practicing free kicks down at Starks this evening.
Yes! That would guarantee promotion! A 36 year old winger currently at Bo’ness!!!0 -
The dream is alive for Mendy to smash in a header at The Lolkirk Stadium to guarantee us a top one finish.

Our midfield is our best aspect, two midfields that get forward and create, and another that can control the tempo against the vast majority of teams we will face.
McGlynn had the defence spot on, but injuries to S. Anderson and Michael Miller, whilst our other centre halves love a red card. I honestly feel like we could re-employ the 5 (or 3?) at the back system, with McKay or a certain French tank taking up the centre role.
About Mendy, oh my god. I’ve seen Kelty play 3 times this season, and what a physical presence he has (worth noting, a way lower standard compared to this.), but I genuinely think he could be handy. He’s incredibly composed, his English is improving game-by-game and I’ve yet to see him lose an arial battle. If McGlynn and Smith are still wary of throwing in the deep-end, and the rumours of a Kelty return are true, then I see no other option than to terminate Anderson’s loan (if that’s even possible) and to try and find another loanee centre-back.
And about our attack, unless Bowie learns how to use his strength and header a ball, and Baird will suddenly start hitting his Forfar form, we need Gullan back. There’s no going around that. We won’t win a title without a goal-scorer, or a competent defence.5 -

What exactly has Baird offered us since he came back?
Yes.0 -
Michael ‘Goals’ Miller back on the bench. Davidson settles right back in next to Benedictus, Watson and Macdonald playing there fullback roles.
Spencer, Tait and Hendry, with a front three of Baird, Gullan and Anderson.0 -
To be fair he was benched most of that time at alloa and Arbroath , get his confidence up and you have a good player at this level, Raith seemed to ruin him....
How have you came to that conclusion? At Raith he played in a front four with Bobby Barr, Lewis Vaughan and Liam Buchanan.
The service was definitely there.0 -
I had heard wee whispers that there was cash to spend from an outside source...
That’s right. Me and Frank are heavily investing.1 -
Scratch that, during the 2015/16 season he scored 13 goals in 35 games for P’head.

I would greatly appreciate Durnan stay and honour his, ahem, two year deal.

The Press and Journal has us in for Shane Sutherland from Elgin. Not sure how reliable a source they normally are. Can’t see it happening unless he has some sort of release clause.
His record for Peterhead last year was underwhelming but he has scored 22 goals this season for Elgin and I thought he was the best player on the park in the recent Challenge Cup match.
Unproven at this level.
I’ll take him nonetheless.0

Just seen McKay’s mistake and you’re all blaming Davo
