If there’s 26% (or more) of members out there who don’t think the information coming out of the club is compelling enough to turn professional, they need to tell the rest of us where they want to take the club otherwise we’ll be stuck in limbo for the foreseeable future.

Late to the party, but for me, the risk to the club is not in going professional. It’s standing still whilst those clubs around and below us move forward. Also - the suggestion that committee members could walk if the proposal is voted down is a bit over the top.
