Ross McLean's contribution to the match was just as bad. Could've played in Rayan for a chance to bury the game, instead stops, loses the ball then fouls his opponent. Another useless signing.

Allan, Morrison, McCallum & Hutchison are all good players for this level, not really sure you can say the same for anyone else in the squad. (Cannon can get a mention for his effort)

As for Josh, can't fault his willingness to commit himself but this isn't his level, that blame should fall on McKinnon & those who allowed the transfer to happen.

As bad as the managerial appointments have been in the last 5 years, recruitment hasn't been any better. Top to bottom the wheels are falling off.

I agree Chucky has been woeful, but he's McKinnon's mate (4th club Ray has signed him at). Bradley hasn't done much yet but looks better than Ross. Also, Cocks deserves more game time but he's probably too attacking for Ray.

Cannon is probably our best new signing so far which is saying something considering he came from like the 9th tier?!

I keep singling him out, but why is Skelly still getting game time? It's actually getting embarrassing.

Skelly works harder than Rusty and seems to be a much nicer guy than Rusty, but once again he was one-on-one twice and booted it high and wide again. His confidence is shot and he is just hopeless.

Rusty can finish when he can be arsed to so. When he came on he was just stood there and three times put his hands up to say he was offside so wasn't going to chase.

Everything wrong with some Forfar fans. Who gives a rats ass about the league Cup group stage? Means nothing in terms of how we have performed in League Two last season and this, in fact it has blinded some fans to our frailties and  exactly how poor we actually are.

Good to get a win today, may even have just about deserved it, but boy were we poor and our utter lack of anyone resembling an actual full back will continue to mean we will be scrubbing around the bottom of this league all season.

Agreed, 6 (woeful) strikers but 0 fullbacks. The squad is unbalanced, uncooperative and uninteresting. We were better today but that's coming from a very, very low bar! Highland League here we come!

I'm not sure what playing for bottom of the Highland league Strathspey is going to do for him either tbh, think he's a least good enough to do better than that.

Bit like when we sent our backup goalie Lewis Sanderson on loan to vale of leithen when they losing every game conceding at 3+ goals each time, the player gains almost nothing at clubs like that.

A player gains nothing playing for Forfar either 😅

Poor Filip though I imagine he thought he'd at least get some game time with us, you know, considering we have no fullbacks at the club!

    Is he gone yet?

How can the Board keep backing this utter garbage?

The board are really proud of Ray because he "matched" a really strong team for 90 minutes (we'll ignore the added time) and had to deal with lots of injuries today. The board are so pleased they want to tear down the "David McGregor Stand" sign and replace it with "Sir Raymond McKinnon Auditorium" and give him the keys to the town of Forfar.

My word how horrendous this season is.

  6. We've signed another striker! We have 5 strikers now (all with combined total of 1 goal)? Yet we have 0 fullbacks and 2 wingers, one who has been hopeless and one who has been at LB because we have no fullbacks!

I guess it suits Ray's philosophy of sit super, super deep and launch balls up park in the hope it might reach whichever striker decides to start.

Poor Rayan, he's been sent back to Forfar to sit on the bench again.

Give yourself a shake - there is no way the club could survive as it is now in the Highland League, it would be a financial catastrophe.

Going into the Highland League would be a catastrophe and the board should invest or show some passion, but I do think we could pay the bills find 15 or so jobbers and languish in mid table and still throw a golf day and sportsman's dinner.

It's not what I want It's what I think the board are content with.

Yep, it's the duty of the Board to act in the Club's best interest. They are accountable for their actions - or in this case non action - and should be explaining to us if we've got it wrong. They are custodians of the Club's assets, assets that will disappear with a drop to HL. They really need to realise this situation is dire and they'd better pull the finger out. I'd say a statement from the Board is urgently needed. Won't hold my breath, mind.

If you want a statement from the board it'll be: "We love Ray and stick by him. We are very disappointed in the unhappy comments we have received from social media and so will not be allowing fan interactions from now on until everybody loves Ray as much as us."

  8. I honestly don't think the board are "cowards" but I do think the majority of them are completely uninterested. The club isn't going to go bankrupt and we could survive financially in the Highland League so that's all that matters to them. As I say the golf day is their biggest highlight of the year.

The chairman likes Ray and Ray likes picking up a wage for very little to no effort into match preparation.

I can't see anything changing, I may be proved wrong and if so then hooray, but yeah I'm expecting us to visiting Wick and Brora next year.

This is why I hope we would sign a goalie coach but given we have two coaches, physio, assistant coach and dick the funds aren't there for one.

But definitely a striker with pace and a right back-centre back type defender and maybe a right winger given shepherd there still think he's better as two up top or from the bench. As far transfers go it be loans at best if anything.

Did Rab Douglas not join you alongside DC and his crew?
