    Cheers, thats helpful.

Never realised there was a bar at the stadium. Is that accessible to away fans as well? And is it a decent size?

    Aye no worries mate.

It is open to away fans aye, has been for as long as I can remember and don't imagine that'll change for Sunday. It's an okay size, albeit I reckon there's a good chance it will be heaving on Sunday and reach that point quite quickly, too.

As an away fan, is the train to Drumgelloch better than the one to Airdrie? Seems a shorter walk, but doesn't mean it's a better route.

Depends what you're after really. Drumgelloch takes you closer to the stadium, but Airdrie station is much more central vis a vis the town itself, so much easier access to pubs pre-match.

Stadium does have a bar of its own.

Not that I've noticed, meanwhile some more Cat 3 woes..

That is a pretty good parody of some of those types of supporters. The same points made, word for word, a few times over. Really good attention to detail.

Oh god it's genuine isn't it?

  4. Had to go Cat 3 for the opening game but hey ho, was happy enough with that possibility before going in. Was always going to go for Cat 3 for the other two so I'm a very happy man.

One of my mate's was having issues getting his, kept getting an error, but taking his login details and going in for him, I was able to do it one game at a time for him no bother. Anyone else having issues might want to give that a go, just in case.

And we all know how fantastic Celtic's first choice are when faced by non Scottish opposition and non Scottish referees.......3-0 Georgia.

A late winner in Cyprus, the absolute chasing they got at home off Spain, their limp performance at Hampden (not to mention how rattled they got by some weather); hardly Atletico Madrid we're playing.

We'll turn them over no bother.

    That's some spin, fair play-

He saved County from relegation at the end of last season with a dramatic penalty shoot-out play-off win against Partick Thistle in Dingwall.

As for who should get it; failed Scotland managers who have seemingly retired ought to become a trend, so, Alex McLeish or Gordon Strachan?

    Someone find George Burley?

  7. Mentioned in another thread that I fancy us to win by a cupla goals.

Especially if there's a spot or two of rain, as the Georgian heids would surely go down.

Goalkeeper, I've no idea. Hopefully we're able to dominate the ball and protect whomever it is, as neither seem impressive. Hopefully they rise to it and surprise us if called upon.

Hickey, Robertson and Tierney of course are absolutely huge for how effective we are but even without them, I'm not sure Clarke will be making any dramatic changes to shape or tactical approach.

Christie off Dykes has worked well before, so might see that again.

This will only be the second game of the season I miss including all pre-season and cup games.

We’ve had our fun in the challenge cup and a run of away games doesn’t help tempt interest for this even though I’m still buzzing from Saturday.

Give Hannah a run out at LB, Dick & Masson CB with McGill on the right.

45 mins each for Stanton & Brown. Rest Vaughan & Smith and give Gullan and Hamilton 90 to get them back up to speed. Maybe 45 each for Connolly and Easton also.

Always good to win a cup and Hamilton had that joy last season. Reality is however they would’ve swapped in to stay in the championship…Strongly fancied Falkirk for the league from the start and wouldn’t fancy any league 1 team vs second bottom of the championship as it’s only Morton so far who look lesser than all other teams.

Oddly enough, we know that if we were to make it through to the final we'll do so without any home ties at all. Two away games in the rounds we've been in so far, away on Saturday, and away in the semi-final if we make it past Morton. Only the four games, mind, so not that odd, but it is a bit of a quirk.

Did Rangers B manage to field a team of international stars that were not going to be available for the original date? and still get beat

They did manage to field 26 year old english youth prodigy Kieran Dowell.

Good to see the future of Scottish football is in safe hands, right enough...

Yeah. Big drop off in quality.  Is Shankland still running around carrying a little bit of lumber?

He looks as fit as I've ever seen him, to be fair, and I do think he is better now than when he was first called up, but as you rightly say, big gulf between him and Adams, especially when you consider how we like to play.

Shankland has gotten better at hold up and bringing others into the game, granted, but not as adept at it as either Dykes or Adams, and certainly not in the fairly atypical way Scotland look to use the frontman.
