  1. Tim Hortons does a lovely chicken wrap if Broadwood Farm or the Smiddy Inn isn’t suitable. You know the saying about assuming something so maybe I’m not stupid one, if you want to start throwing insults
  2. That’s the golden question, was it the club or Norrie? Mr Innes is a shrewd businessman and it appears he’s done well for himself with the Arria Lounge, more than the club has. I wasn’t at the AGM but I believe this was discussed on the night. Anyone remember any details?
  3. Matchday sponsor or just slum it with the rest of us. If you are worried about loss of revenue for the club, why not just make a donation? Race night is coming up so you could buy extra raffle tickets
  4. Well there you have it , problem solved. I believe the last game v The Rangers of the Northeast we didn’t have any hospitality ( might be mixed up with another game) so may be why the commercial dept or whoever chose this game for the Ladies day event. A better response from the club would have been to offer matchday sponsors rather than just go elsewhere. As for the bar in the Arria, to my knowledge the club only make a very small profit from that, even with private events. A sound bit of business by our previous Chairman
  5. Is this just open criticism or do you offer a solution? Why were you turned down for hospitality?
  6. Falkirk and Dumbarton away ( not last night )is about it from my memory
  7. Well that was pish. Can we get the real Goodwillie back please? Not this lookalike that can’t seem to get in a position to get a shot at goal. We’d be as well playing Mcniff up front to win the ball and have Goodwillie in behind. Lang and Mcniff look decent together but Grant Mcstay Lamont aren’t moving the ball quick enough, all too predictable. We seem to have no spark, no drive, It’s hard to watch. I was under no illusion that this season would be tough but we’ve had enough time to adjust to the league to know what we need to do to compete , even with the teams around us. Forfar bossed us, Peterhead bossed us, Stranraer bossed us ( 2 games out of 3 ). McAllister ran riot at Broadwood but had hardly scored all season against anyone else. Doris won everything that came near him and we couldn’t get the ball of Stevenson. Doris and Stevenson aren’t exactly in the prime of their careers but we made them look like superstars. Danny and Allan need to get this squad to believe in themselves. There has been games this season when we have been great to watch, where we looked like we believed in ourselves and the players around us but they have been few and far between. Falkirk are a better team now as are Montrose so DL needs to work out how we stop this downward spiral or it’s back to the abyss of League 2 . I , for one, am worried.
  8. Tough month ahead so hopefully we can get some points from this. Hutton to get a red card for spitting his dummy out ( he should have at broadwood for his antics at the final whistle) and a clean sheet for the bully wee would be ideal
  9. Scott banks on loan to Alloa, disappointing we couldn’t get him back
  10. He hasn’t played in the cup so he’d be eligible. Would benefit both sides..
  11. Get where you were going now. Definitely shows the board are backing DL and are thinking beyond this season. Goody will always be linked with other clubs due to his goals but as he said himself he loves the Clyde, loves the fans and as I’ve heard elsewhere “ he’s oor Willie “
  12. And we should have in the first half, funnily enough that wasn’t on the highlights...
  13. If it’s not ready tomorrow or Tuesday then it should be moved, Ainslie Park would do
  14. My fear for Saturday is our recent performances on poor, uneven pitches. Stranraer and Cowdenbeath, after poor weather, haven’t suited our passing game. I will be over the moon to be proved wrong. Pre season at Bonnyrigg, it took us till late on in the game before we had the upper hand. I know we have improved but so have Bonnyrigg. I’m not underestimating them in the slightest as I’d say they are on par with league 2 level. I’ll still go with optimism but also a shade of nerves
  15. He’ll score the winner on Saturday ! Good to have more strength in numbers and he’ll slot right in beside rumsby I’d think or maybe in midfield [emoji848]
  16. He’s scored against Bonnyrigg this season so bring him back for Saturday [emoji16]
  17. Any recommendations for car parking on Saturday ? Was at the pre season game and parked on the street
