2-1 flatters them big time. Could of been 4 or 5, some of the football we played was a joy to watch, noticed hetherington was skipper today aswell.

Wonder what the odds were for someone to post “ just seen messi at benny T’s “ on the COYB page was?

Can’t believe we’ve not made a signing this week

Heard a wee rumour that 2 loan players coming in from England but no names were given.
Likely to be done before the weekend I presume?

On the subject of signings, I think that we will struggle to get 90 minutes out of Gomis. That he is a cracking midfielder is without doubt. But I do wonder with him being that bit older if he goes in to tackles thinking that he will win them, but his legs have other ideas? I think that discipline will be a real issue for him, and I can see him getting hooked a good few times before he gets sent off. IIRC, he has had a yellow card in most games so far?
Gomis was one of our better players last year but almost every game after about an hour he seemed to run out of steam ( understandable due to his age) but it would never stop him being rash and going for tackles he probably shouldn’t. He loves a yellow card.

One might get there given a bit of time, the other could be given a decade, and he’d still not come good. May be the case that Sheerin reckons he is worth a go based purely on nuisance value and work rate.
Sheerin’s interview was a master class in humility and respect. Even his handshake with Lewis at the end was very well judged. Compare it to Hartley’s ignorant “shit on my shoe” attitude to Lewis a couple of years ago.
Easy decision for supporters to make regarding who they’d back between Holt and Sheerin.
I must be in the minority that thought Wilson was actually ok yesterday. Never done anything special but had some decent bits of hold up play and flick ons.

Thought Seb Ross had a decent game in midfield as well and also got the better of that big haddy Draper. Certainly much rather have him than Leitch who unsurprisingly was absolutely ganting yesterday. Great to see he’s not improved at all.
I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised by seb Ross. Hadn’t seen much of him previous to him signing for us by cove fans didn’t seem to rate him. Think he’s done decent for us so far

That performance and team line-up today was a shocker.
We going to play 4-5-1 all season to try and fit Draper in? I sincerely hope not. Would be catastrophic.
He was a ghost in that midfield.
Scully has pace and chases every ball and he's warming the bench - doesn't sit right with me. We've displaced Fyvie from his usual position and it showed.
If we go 4-4-2 naturally Draper will be excluded surely? At that point in CM he has to opt for Fyvie and Vigurs although Blair would excel there too and is far more consistent and driving than the latter.
Another good striker or even just start Rory and play 4-4-2 is how I see our best formation.
Was very surprising how poor cove were yesterday. But still managed to get a point. Guess that’s a good sign for you guys.

Just listening to sheerin’s interview....first thing he says is a lot more people have suffered worse than we have over the last 18 months.....no hard luck stories or feeling sorry for himself - breath of fresh air.
Honest in every interview aswell. M&M said the same things every single week

Plenty of positives yesterday, pretty much echoing what everyone else has said, nesbitt, Morrison & telfer standouts. A clinical striker and we would of won that game, hall comes in for a fair bit of stick but thought he was pretty faultless yesterday, scenes for the goal were great. Great feeling being back in a stadium

Sheerin interview all 5 were symptomatic which doesn't bode well.
It’s a shambles we’re being made to play this game tomorrow.

How many tickets have we been allocated for the game tomorrow?

If he's fit I'd take him as a trialist for Saturday.
Would take him. Good centre half at Morton from what I can remember. Injuries clearly stalled his career a bit.

More trouble than he's worth. There's a reason he's at Torquay and it's not his ability with a ball.
It’s a Risk. But one id take.
