Two kits that are possibly no use away to Morton, Raith, Falkirk and Dunfermline. Good work.
Could we not wear the black and white kit away at Raith and Falkirk?
Aware I’m more than likely missing something obvious

Mackenzie Carse offered nothing to suggest he should be signed on a permanent basis, in fact he was only with us because of who his agent happened to be…………..so yeah I wouldn’t be surprised now

thanks for the response. Maybe he will give up the sports agency as presumably it will be a full time role as Director of football
My hope is that it is more of an emeritus position

Are all your players currently from this guys sports agency anyway?
No, just a handful of not very good players

The appointment of this absolute helmet is actually making me miss Beuker (something I never thought would be the case)

I believe one of the things promised at the AGM was “robust corporate governance”.
This being anywhere near the club makes a mockery of claims that we are series about the long term

They’ve only gone and done it.
At best embarrassing, at worst corruption

I also see its being reported that the club are poised to make Darren O'Donnell the new Director of Football.
He's the head of Mercury sports management who have been the clubs main source of talent the past 12-18 months. They are Mackenzie Carse and Aaron Healy's agency to name but a few.
Will be interesting to see if that comes to fruition.

Don’t worry
According to LinkedIn he recently passed his level 1.3 Talent ID coaching badge.
That combined with his years of experience in the (checks notes) Golf Recruitment industry means he is more than qualified to oversee a full time professional football club and elite level academy.
19 times capped Scotland international, double cup winning Callum Davidson will be hanging on his every word I’m sure.

The one you’ve all been waiting for is here! Dom was Wheelenterview’ed last week and it was one of my favourite chats so far. He’s a real credit to your club, you’re very fortunate to have such an enthusiastic captain who speaks so well and so passionately about the club.
Thank you for your questions and your genuine intrigue in the chat. I’d love for as many of you to hear it as possible, share it around if you have others you know will enjoy it. Likewise, if you like the sound of my voice, give the show a follow to be the first to know about the next exciting interviews. Hopefully not our last involvement with Queen’s Park on the podcast, I’m sure I’ll see you at Hampden next season

Listened to it this morning. A really enjoyable listen, nice job putting it together

Not sure I understand the logic - we can't afford a "bespoke" home kit but we can afford a "bespoke" away kit. how does that work?
I doubt the away kit is bespoke

Welcome Adam.......but like any new poster on any fans forum, and given your "pals" comments.?
It would be nice for us on the Queen's Park forum "pay at the gate", supporters to know the following
Why should we 2) laugh at Inverness ????
I, like many Queen's fans, who have been lucky enough over the years to attend not only home, but away games, at Inverness..... and Dingwall, Elgin, Peterheid, Cove , Montrose and best of all for an away day...Arbroath. I've scrounged lifts, borrowed bus fares, dodged train barriers, but of course I've always payed to get in.
Your "new" first post makes me think you are the kind of guy who is here to tell us that the complete mis-management that is the redevelopment of Lesser Hampden was not the fault of any current QP Committee member, and we should ignore such disgraceful decisions concerning building a glorified "Punch and Judy" box to house those self imagined glitterati.
So Adam could you answer the following questions................after all, it is close season (for us), so we are desparate for any news.
1:- Do you have any connection with any QP committee member ? You don't have to say which one !
2:- Do you have any connection with CITY ????? in all it's manifistasions ????
2:- Do you have any connection with any football club in the Glasgow area that 99.99 % of the rest of the QP family think are toxic ?
Well of course, It would be nice to believe, you' re a genuine , brand new, football fan with an interest in QP, brought about by the fantastic efforts of certain members of the hard working staff that go unrecogniseat The Nc Alpine StIUM

They’ve managed to leave out both Liam Mcleish and Josh Scott from the list for some reason
Thought we might keep a hold of Sheridan for one more year but the rest aren’t surprising. You could tell from recent interviews that Mckinstry was likely to be offered a deal

He was in great form at our player of the year awards last week and after the game yesterday.
Took the time to chat with fans of all ages and happy to stop for photos etc.
An all round good guy who is just fine as a role model thank you very much.

Ridiculous season:
The Lesser Hampden Test Event
The strip
Robin Veldman, Marijn Beuker and Leeann Dempster
Winning 3 on the bounce then not winning for months
The Raith Rovers 3-2 games
5-2 and 4-1 home defeats to Ayr and ICT
Signing Welsh and Sheridan from ICT then finishing above them
Inverness fans acting the big man at Hampden just a few weeks ago
Ruari Paton’s goals
Cilian Sheridans goals and assists
Super Dom Thomas
Louis Longridge a mainstay of the team
Dundee United booed off for drawing nil nil with us
Josh Scott proving that youth players from down south can excel at this level
The 6-0 v Arbroath
a league win over Airdrie
no win over Morton
The scenes last night at the goals and full time

Laurie Ellis won a manager of the month early on and he too was rubbish.

Any scenario where Robin Veldman remained in charge this season would have seen us with significantly less points than we have now, regardless of January signings.
He was a disaster and I saw nothing to suggest things would improve.

Here’s one to ponder. How do we think Veldman would have got on this season if he had Sheridan, Wilson and Welsh (plus McKinstry & Scott) from the start?
He’d have lost us games by repeatedly subbing all three of them at the same time when a goal up with five minutes to go…………….followed each time by an interview where he talks about “learnings”

They are being presented with the Trophy at their last home game against Boroughmuir Thistle on the 12th May. You would imagine they will move that to the City Stadium.
wouldn't you?
I think that’s unlikely as they have already started completely re-seeding the pitch (the company that maintains the pitch posts the odd picture on their social media)

Davidson has made some mistakes in recent weeks for sure but no doubt the root cause of the situation we find ourselves in was LeeAnn Dempster (and others) giving Marijn Beuker full control of the first team in the summer.

Davidson's lack of imagination and passion is worrying. Why can't he see that Thomson must be moved forward. He had the opportunity today with Fox and Bannon available to to this and move Turner forward. The minute McKinstry and then Mauchin came on it was all over. That was utterly pathetic to watch a team playing at home for survival looking like mid Div1 outfit at best. Welsh is careless and has lost his mojo and even Wilson was not up for it today. Sheridan is a character but not the answer. Ah well, back to Cove. I cannot see us picking up any more points this season unless Thomas makes a miraculous return. It would be good if the club could be honest with us and tell us the current state of affairs with him.
Any of Fox, Bannon or Robson should have started ahead of Tizzard today. How many times has he been hooked at half time now? Must be some kind of record.
In fact two of them should have started with Thompson pushed into midfield.

What an absolute mess of a season.
