Hi mate, can you f**k off out the thread, thanks
There’s a sense of irony in a Rangers fan calling any other fan entitled.
Anyway, this will probably be a draw that makes me want to scratch my eyes out with a rusty 2p coin, followed by Lennon saying the team lacks hunger, that we bossed the game, nay, we peppered Kilmarnock with two shots on target.
The Lennivan rolls on and the Green Brigade barks.

Bit of a stupid thread this...

Are... Are we the diddies?

I’d be perfectly fine with Celtic forfeiting points in future should they fail to comply with league and government guidelines, leading to complete calling off of a fixture.
St Mirren, for one, are repeat offenders and that’s probably factored heavily into this decision.

The downward trajectory of going from finishing first, to finishing 2nd. That's literally what this is all about.
I’d argue with the way our form has been we’d finish outside the top 4.

Just popping in to congratulate you on the League Cup.

Curious to see the mental gymnastics Willy pulls off to spin this one as a non-worry.

Absolutely insane mental gymnastics on display Willy.
I bet you’re one of those guys screaming about how fans are currently spoiled because they expect to win everything... Then say that we’ll win the league and to keep the faith.

So it’s come full circle and now we’re the banter years...

Not a fan of winning league titles using the “who shits the bed most” strategy tbf.
Last night we were cruising at 2-0, went in at half time and came out as a confused and jumbled mess.
We’ve now showed up for 60 odd minutes out of 270.

Reading through the Celtic thread to discover Jermain '3 appearances and 1 goal by the end of October' Defoe is worth every penny of his £30k/week.
It’s a strange world we live in right now... But I suppose it’s easier than dealing with how shite we are right now.

A snapshot with players close by when coming away from the goal is not an advantage over a penalty. A goal is. Waited to see if there was an advantage. There wasn't. Happy to help Neil.
Okay Derek.

Yes, and if the advantage isn’t an advantage, in that we didn’t score, play is quite legitimately brought back to the foul a couple of seconds earlier, in this case a penalty.
If the shot had been blocked by a Celtic player I’d agree wholeheartedly.

I think it's a straight red. He clearly takes Mclennan out because he's about to score. Double whammy only applies if there's a genuine attempt to play the ball, which there was not.
It should have been a straight red, yes.

Ref can play advantage at a straight red where there's a goalscoring opportunity. But that only applies to straight reds which no one has argued for.
Not sure what you mean by the advantage being squandered. Waited to see if there was an advantage and there wasn't, so it was a pen.
Clearly it couldn't have been an instant penalty if the ref played advantage, but no reason not to send McGregor off.
It wouldn't have affected the game at that point. I don't even know if he'd have been suspended for the semi. But it would have been the right thing to do.
The advantage was the boy receiving the ball from the foul, then clattering it into the underside of the bar at an almost open goal. If he gets the shot off as a result of play continuing, that’s the advantage.

McGregor not being sent off is more of a thing than Brown.
Not really.
The referee played an advantage, meaning at most it can only be a yellow, but it’s also resulted in a penalty (no double whammy.)
The advantage was squandered when it struck the bar, so in actuality by the laws of the game there shouldn’t have been a penalty given and then McGregor should have been sent off.
Swings and roundabouts though. He should have been off and it should have been an instant penalty but the manner in which the referee dealt with it meant it couldn’t happen.
Aberdeen played their game perfectly up until they collapsed, then Celtic collapsed in tow. Although anyone that’s seen us try to hold on knows we are completely incapable of doing so.

Ferguson to absolutely boss Brown, some 68th minute subs when what we’ve been doing for the entire game doesn’t work.
Just cross the ball and you’ll score.Filled with dread over this one.

Looks like I missed an interesting thread...
1-0 Celtic and riots in the streets.

Handshakes all round post game as it’s only fitba.

On our currently inconsistent form...
Crap game to watch. 2-0 Celtic.

I wouldn’t say St Mirren gave us a game, as such.
They did however have enough about them to take advantage of a poorly organised defence.
Celtic were rotten last night, it’s happens a few times this season. The left winger for St. Mirren made it look like our defence were being rewound.
If the ball had went through him a bit more St Mirren very well could have nabbed something outside of the plucky performance wooden spoon.

Can’t see anything other than an absolute kicking for St Mirren
5-0 Celtic

We all love a good refereeing conspiracy don't we?
Masons in the black not really pulling their weight are they
Fair play to them using days after the pandemic shutdown to make it seem even longer instead of games.
Coincidentally Accies had the most penalties last season with a total of seven. Always knew the SPL wanted them to succeed at all costs.

Looks like you were searching for a Celtic thread? Didn't you say it was the home teams responsibility to start the match threads?
Not sure if it's just hypocrisy or the drink with you sometimes.
Careful not to get a second ban for being a bigot now.
Self awareness isn’t his speciality as of late.

How are we defining local team?
Its quicker for me to walk to Parkhead than Accies, but quicker to get the train to Accies than it is to Parkhead.
