Coming from someone that's had to make multiple accounts and hide who they even support on a football forum, that hurts.
being hated by your fellow fans must hurt more. Dundee fans at that. The lowest of the low. Ooft

Rangers & Celtic have a bigger fanbase than most EPL clubs. So I guess our top flight is bigger than the EPL going by your fucking nonsense.
Well that has nothing to do with the original point but being a Dundee fan I would imagine you are just a complete muppet

Except it isn’t.Well non league football in England has several bigger clubs than St Johnstone in terms of fan base and finances just for starters.

So not only are you an expert on League 1 in England you own a crystal ball or more likely just another charlatan.
Just find it bizarre Utd are happy with such a poor appointment considering their apparently lofty ambitions. This guy is a Hamilton type appointment

As many Tranmere fans pointed out he got them 2 successive promotions but was not given the budget to compete in League 1 with more or less the same players he had in The National League. They were also relegated due to covid with 10 games to go and a game in hand 3 points behind 4th bottom. Not certain for relegation. Tranmere fans absolutely love him and clearly dont blame him for their position in League 1.
And I am sure you will feel the same when you are relegated next season

Worth remembering most lower league English fans believe the Scottish top flight to be the equivalent of non-league football down there.
Which to be fair is pretty accurate

You won't get complete boycotts, but the travelling support will be substantially down.
Perhaps even as low as your average St Mirren or Dunfermline travelling support.
Why would anyone care? if St Mirren, Hamilton or whoever else came down it would just be the same numbers.

I will listen to Tranmere fans views on Mellon before posters on here who know nothing about him.
I know he managed Tranmere. And got them relegated to the bottom tier.

Utd fans putting on a brave face here. Missing out on McClaren and ending up with a comedy named no mark who has just relegated a team to the lowest division in England.

Tranmere fans appear to hold him in very high regard. For a guy to maintain that level of support after four years at a club is pretty remarkable.
And he just got them relegated

We're going to lose the court case, end up back in the Championship, with Malky managing, and Shankland sold to some League 1 no-marks for 100k.
It's shite being a United fan.
And a drama queen

I fully expect it to fall through and to hear "we gave it our best go, boys" from Asghar. Probably in a 3 page spread with at least 4 different photos of himself.
Well played

Quite happy Steve McClaren has decided against it: would prefer a younger manager with something to prove.

His literal reason for leaving Saints was because he wanted more control over contractual matters.
If that is the case then he will be lucky to find a job at a decent sized club

If that's true, then it's a relief as theres no chance TW will work like that.
Just because he worked a certain way at St Johnstone doesn't mean he won't have to adapt to how things work at a bigger club. Clubs with much bigger budgets work in a different way.
