I've always liked Shane, when he uses his power to run through players. And he did show a bit of that at the start of the season. Looking like a good signing. But that faded, and he became pretty anonymous out wide as the season went on. Eventually dropping down the pecking order. Seems to have had plenty of chances at goal too. But a little too wasteful to be considered for our main strikers.

Once given a run this season, he's proven to be far better than average. Picking Kennedy over Mackay early in the season seemed a massive waste to me. Kennedy might have been more eye-catching to watch. But I think Mackay got more out of those around him.

With a need to reduce emissions, over the next couple of years. And hopefully big investment in public transport. I'd expect that road to still be sufficient enough for trade with Ireland. The Irish government already has a lot of good will with Scotland anyway. Also would building ferry capacity further north, not be more cost efficient, than dualling a road. Looking the other way. I'd see getting better access to Germany, or Scandinavia to be more likely. Expanding the Scottish national investment banks remit. And setting the agenda on currency should also be priorities, in building the case for independence.

I would reckon after the election. An SNP government will announce plans for a referendum to be the second half of the parliament. With covid recovery being the reason given for it taking a while. But I'd hope there would be big moves to build infrastructure for independence in Europe.

Greens have criticized SNP vivid handling quite a lot. And have tried to offer more constructive solutions than the other parties. Also, why would they bother to comment on anything Jason leitch says?

I don't think it is any different to what the big US companies have done. They're getting a competitive advantage, whilst their state also benefits. The us got richer at the expense of mainly European countries in the same way. The biggest reason I'd be less concerned about Huawei, is my personal data, they still have. But is too insignificant to them or the Chinese government.

I think Corbyn was pretty popular in Scotland. I know quite a few, who 2017 was there first and only time voting labour. A lot of people will choose a socialist option when offered. I think his biggest issue was the rest of the labour party. As discussed above the rise again of the SNP vote, I think is labour no longer seeming an option. After it was clear socialism wasn't going to be the main focus of the party.

I'd agree, based on income seems much fairer. A land value tax, I'd only be comfortable with happening in a completely reformed market overall. Council's absolutely should have more accountability for the vast amounts they're responsible for. And if they were taxing people on their income. People might pay more attention to vote for competent representatives.

This quote is just playing to the prejudices of unionists, and Tory supporters in England. Knowing they'd eat it up. I don't quite see it that way. More the Greens/a further left leaning SNP Vs a populist alba vision of Scotland getting more media time. Instead of unionist v nationalist. Which could be more constructive in the long run. As it's a change to the same arguments that go nowhere. And could energise people more Not that I particularly want to see any of them elected. But I could see it as the beginning of replacing the Tories in Scotland.

I can see this polarising the electorate, and begin to replace the Tory/ unionist vote over time. There's a fair support for this out there. And reckon, they'll pick up 1-3 seats only. But greens will still pick up modest gains. However SNP list seats are going to be considerably harder to come by. So both votes SNP folk with left leaning views who are against this. What do you do? Stick in with both votes SNP or pile into the greens.
