Darvel in the cup - you heard it here first.
Have never laughed so hard for ages at Darvel knocking out Aberdeen,
Could not have happened to a more deserving bunch of whinging cheats.
Did I ever tell you about a game at Brockville against them?
Tell us about that game, please. Are you thinking of the League Cup win in 1971?

Airdrie & Kelty we’re howlers and thankfully now parked. Still early season but some promising real signs were starting to look better, fitter and dare I say it winners. Might upset a few but even with Williamson fit, I would still continue with Yeats at RB. Yes he made a few mistakes but his appetite to hound opposing players is simply a joy to watch. Watched McGinn giving Yeats encouragement and applause throughout the game, great leadership from the captain.
I also noticed Mc Glynn giving Yeats a bit of criticism when he lost the ball. Good to see that standards are high.

Nope I’m the same, there are folk in this team that it’s easy to fall in love with. McGinn is a f*cking Rolls Royce of a player, Coll Donaldson is as calm as buggery at the back, Finn Yeats is a dream find and for once despite what we have been told by other teams fans Alegria looks like he can lead the line for us. We also now have quality off the bench as well, it’s early doors but McGlynn and Smith seem to be pointing us towards the right direction.
Mind you, Q o S were poor.

Also more than happy to eat humble pie about Alegria. Looked a different player today. Hold up play & movement great, but the real diff for me he's stronger - holding off & turning defenders, dragging them out to make space... he was really impressive today. Good as Morrison's strike was - and it was a belter - Alegria totally made it.
Cult player in the making...
I think he would like the idea

Up in the granite city with a few die hard bairns tonight who have spent most of their working life’s up here. Last time I stayed for a game up here, we won and a certain right back had the game of his life as such a young age.
It wasn't Kidder was it?

100 years ago today we broke the world transfer record to sign Syd Puddefoot from West Ham. Still the only Scottish club to do so
3 years later he was sold on to Blackburn where he scored a shed load of goals for them as well and was capped by England
If he was still alive today aged 126 I'd still have him in our squad ahead of Jamie fucking Wilson
I was reading a report in the Falkirk Herald yesterday which was complaining about Puddefoots inconsistent form. The reporter expressed his frustration that such a talented player showed his skill so infrequently in a Falkirk FC shirt. Does this sound familiar?

I finally decided to vote for Finn. I like his wholehearted commitment, his youth and confidence. There's a bit of Tiger about him .
