Are France letting in more than 5,000 now? Otherwise, not sure you can call about 10% of the Parc de Princes packed.

Look at it looks a hell of a lot better than the shit show which is our game and 5000 is a lot more than in majority of all Scottish grounds every week lol

I don’t know how true it is but it’s been mentioned that contracts don’t officially start until competitive games are back on. If there’s still no crowds allow in by then, it’s up to the players themselves (and their conscience) whether they are going to demand wages from clubs when it’s a 2nd wage/cash to do a ‘job’ they are supposed to love...

We are all struggling so I can’t see why it would be a huge problem for players to defer payments for a month or 2 until clubs are back on track. Again it’s not ideal but it’s non-league, part time football... any players who would rather let their club die than take a bit of the strain need to take a good look at themselves

It’s not there club mate most are playing at that level for money and harsh reality is if they don’t pay there better players they will go elsewhere

Half time the players were out on the pitch. The teams were “based” at opposite sides of the pitch from one another. That’s at the game I was at
crazy that we can’t allow 100/200 fans into spacious grounds where we could easily social distance, yet we can go to a busy Silverburn/Braehead and have a meal with various strangers around us emoji849.png

I seriously don't understand this either. You can only have 6 people visiting a household or whatever....but you can happily visit a Tesco/Asda Superstore where they can easily have at least 500/600 people in it!! Most junior grounds have loads of space......#confused.com...pile of pish

From west to league 1 could easily have fans in

It’s just an example of football fans not doing what they are supposed. Getting fans back will require everyone to follow strict rules.

the other thing common is that the default to look at what other folk are doing. We need to take football in isolation, forget pubs, schools, shops or whatever. We’re football and have to work within our own area to get into a state we’re good to go with and not get distracted by what’s happening in other parts of society.

So as I said no evidence whatsoever that mostly less then 100/300 people standing outside with masks not in groups would cause any issue at all lower levels of Scottish football can’t be treated the same as premier league

I don't think its as damning as they don't matter.  The guidelines for returning to football are set out by the SFA and the Scottish Government, presumably it will be somewhere down the line providing the virus is kept in check and clubs can prove that they can follow the protocols and fans can act responsibly. Football fans have never been the best at following rules. People standing up in all seater stadiums, not sitting at their allocated seats, swearing, singing songs they shouldn't be singing, being offensive, using smoke bombs, fighting each other in the streets etc etc.  Some of that isn't maybe seen as a big deal to football fans but it's just little bits of things where fans aren't seen to behave in the way they should vs something like Rugby, Ice Hockey, Cricket, Speedway etc. With the tighter restrictions on some local areas there probably isn't a massive appetite to bring the fans back.

We know it can work, we've got the space and small numbers to handle, these friendlies are our acid test, we have to follow the rules to the letter with no exceptions in order to give us a fighting chance to move through the steps before getting fans back.

Most parks at this level don’t even have have seats mate and that’s right cause we all behave like angels in pubs etc 🙄

With the squads they've put together, I think both Kelty and East Kilbride will be dissapointed not to go up this season , never mind win the league. These are SPFL squads and they've clearly been assembled to get there. I don't see anyone "scooshing" the league. As Kelty saw last season, you can blow away teams week after week but if someone like Bonnyrigg are grinding out the wins, it's difficult to get too far ahead of them.

As a side note, I hope Ben Reilly does well at Kelty. I really liked the look of him at East Fife a few years ago. He's a really tidy player.

Thought Reilly left kelty for BSC

Yeah, because resigning to no football at all is definitely better than exploring the options there are... 🙄

Common sense need to prevail here clubs at this level should have fans in with social distance protocol etc no problem no more of a risk than pubs gyms etc and all the other things that can be done now there will be JR games etc on all over the place today with people in the social clubs in the grounds but can’t watch the game 😂😂

Barry Ferguson's signing policy literally is just any player who has a good game against him.

I remember he signed Steven Brisbane when he was at Clyde because he scored a good goal against them. It just happened to be his only goal that season I think. Matty Flynn is the same, played okay against Kelty and that was good enough to sign him. Flynn and McNab should be no where near Keltys squad

Ah the Ferguson scatter gun process again 😂😂
