Well there are  people who don’t know him from Adam so I guess it’s a question iof what experience he has rather than credentials. I’m sure he is a very capable guy otherwise he wouldn’t be where he is.

i know the original post was meant as a wind up but I’m genuinely interested in finding out a bit more about him as I’m  sure others are for the right reasons..

Who is he and what's his background ??

I'd like to genuinely know also. Thanks.

McKenna Snrs comments were more than that. They were libellous and a very poor attempt at character assassinations of a man who has worked tirelessly on behalf of the WoS teams in recent months.

Looking at some of the posts on here over the last few days, its become clear there is a strategy at play. Im struggling to understand the end goal? I can only assume its a power play for control of the WoSFL.

What will be interesting over the coming weeks is if St Ants do as McKenna assured everyone in his tweet and demand his £500 back. I believe clubs were advised last night if anyone wanted to withdraw they would receive a full refund.

The stories of lobbying behind the backs of the majority of WoS clubs & LL board by Talbot and Pollok have come from too many different and reliable sources and not just Clydebank supporters as some of the newer posters on here have tried to suggest, not to be true. So if everyone knows what everyone else has been up to, it will also be very interesting to see how that one plays.

A few of the more reliable posters on here did suggest a while back that the WoSFL will just end up being run by the same people and from what i can gather thats a bad thing. I guess if im right and it is a power play the next step will be to restrict who can vote so they can be sure they get the league committee they want. Some more lobbying and interference from the SFA to come perhaps?

Mate the boys club from alloa are doing nobody any harm good on you for giving it a go in men's football but you can't take over non league football .

The wos football league at tier 7 and 8 will be ran by junior officials and junior officials will have a big say in tier 6 and in time tier 5 that's gonna happen common sense tells you that to compliment i may add who's already involved unless of course you are in tier 4 and then a new gaffer for the lowland will need to be found.

Only sensible decision in these times is a 14-14-14 and no promotion from the lowland or highland till scottish football gets on its feet again.

Why is it sensible to go 14-14-14 and stop relegation to the LL?

Because of the situation the country and world is in. Would be especially harsh to relegate anyone only further causing harm especially from an incomplete season. That's just my opinion.

Seen it said on Twitter that St Anthony's delegate on the Zoom Conference last night didn't cause much of a commotion.

Why not let good clubs and good football men like at the ants get on with it nobody on here needs a minute by minute update on things ffs.

Can I just say as a board member of Clydebank fc that at no time have we as a club commented on any of this and this post should be retracted. Terrible accusation to make which some people could believe if they don't read the whole thread.

Well to an outsider looking in many will see a clydebank supporter with 'sources' and obviously conclude someone within the club is leaking info to him it's not rocket science.

Apologies I deleted the initial comment to attempt to male a further point ! Perhaps with all the confusion with the new West etc you assume it wasn’t prudent of the Association to remind people of the application deadline just in case they were totally and quite probably pissed off with the hand they’ve suddenly been dealt in the last few days ?

It's desperate let's face it and totally pointless. Good luck to you and the association.

It’s not been a fantastic grade for years, much of that down to the poor leadership. This is reflective of most grades. Certain clubs do incredibly well, entertain and are successful. Some not so succesful but run by people who love football.

They, like the rest are ultimately let down by this poor leadership throughout.

Change was requires regardless. This new setup will allow that, if clubs stop bickering from the off.

If folk don’t like it, the Junior forum is still live so feel free to pop over to it. Nobody was dragged, they all applied to move. If they didn’t look into it properly then they are guilty of their own poor leadership. Too easy to blame others.

    Ok thanks for the input.

We'll see what happen on the pyramid. My guess would be that no reconstruction can make it through an SPFL general meeting and reach the vote requirements, so the team 42 playoff stays as is for the foreseeable future.

Long time reader of the forum on and off you are an excellent poster. Can you see this ever working in reality ?

Yes it's all good ticking boxes and saying we now have a 'pyramid' a plastic version imo to use a phrase but is it really worth it?  I really do worry that most clubs have been dragged into this charade. If only junior leadership had been better for the fantastic junior grade clubs in scotland .

Do you understand the concept of a pyramid? A lot of home learning going on just now. Maybe you can join in?

Can people stop calling it a pyramid when it wasn't a proper functioning pyramid covering the whole country pre pandemic and certainly won't be post pandemic where everything will be limited even more the folly of those who have invested so much into this will get royally shafted the writing is already on the wall for crying out loud.

  9. Why is anyone even bothered about this association. Bit desperate trying to lure in teams with a begging social media call to come join us. Stick them where they should be bottom tier of pyramid and let them enjoy the football at that level.
