Morning Ric. I have stated since day one that Hearts will be playing in the top league in the coming season. Sadly my timescale of this happening has been wrong but there’s been so much going on. Anyway we’re there now.

Well there is a shock. The papers are reporting Doncaster is to tell clubs to vote for reconstruction.

I’ll very confidently suggest they don’t vote as they claim in that article.

We will see. This is getting passed next week. Old firm, Edinburgh and Highland derbies. Sky have told the SPFL to make this happen.

That doesn’t really make sense though considering they’ve already been through all this. The difference is Sky are more interested in having the Edinburgh derby than not.

Ask yourself this.....why has this plan been reintroduced? The mood has changed. I wonder why?........

It’s not just Celtic who are backing this proposal but Sky have made it clear they’d prefer to have Hearts in the top league.

Celtic are putting pressure on clubs to vote this through. Thankfully the champions have some class.
