What is the consensus of the 'keeper Connelly? Looked very good against Berwick in the cup, made a few decent saves against EK before a couple of howlers. Been on the bench for Motherwell at a really young age.
Is he a player that could make it at a higher level?Definitely, watched that game.
Bound to do well if he continues his career.
Heard good reports of him even though I've not seen him in person.
Couple of Friends praised him before that game.

Not a lover of the old firm in any shape or form but we live in a democracy and if that's what the clubs want and voted for then good luck to them.
Yes the Clubs voted for it.
If it came down to the Clubs fans I think most would say nay.

The thing is folks, and a lot will know more than me about this.
Because the LL have voted to accept these Colt teams in are they going to accept the invitation?
Or are they still pushing for entry into the 2nd Division?

You're of course spot on Broony, turkeys, Xmas etc. Just keep it in mind when they bleat about the SPFL looking after their own.
I would think the Highland and Lowland Leagues are open to more relegation but they would like more movement from the 2nd Division who are as it stands over protected.

Edinburgh Uni pumped 9-0 at home by east kilbride today
Absolute state of 'tier 5' in Scottish football when you've got Edinburgh uni, vale of leithen, dalbeattie star etc. a league up from Hurlford, Irvine, Tranent, Btoxburn and all the other decent ex junior sides.
3 relegation places from the lowland can't come soon enough, but they don't seem interested in speeding up the lowland's shift towards a standard that truly reflects tier 5 so that'll probably be no time soon.
It take a long time for the second Division to accept relegation.
And even at that its still a half baked one.
And I do believe the Juniors were invited to join the Pyramid a few years before and most declined.

What's that now, three former league teams relegated to the Lowland league?
Can't see any of them going up again soon.
Maybe E.S. the only prospect.
