Really am surprised Newbury isn't of use to you boys, he's been solid at centre half and moved into defensive midfield yesterday and bossed it, really good at reading the game, breaking it up and passing it forward. He's not shy to carry the ball either when space allows. Looks a cut above League 2.

Simply because Rankin is not interested in playing our young players. We have some excellent youth players, Newbury, Ben Black, Lewis Latona and Chris McGinn none of whom are anywhere near our first team squad. I’d rather see these guys playing than some of the dross Rankin has signed.

Leaving out the "tapping up" aspect of the alleged approach, that's pretty unprofessional from your DOF. Assuming it's true of course.

It's not a good look for a club official to give out what is obviously confidential information concerning another club. When he was in charge at Falkirk, Peter Houston was asked at a fan forum about the possibility of us going for Stephen Dobbie. Houstie responded by telling the room what Dobbie's salary was and the QOTS fans on P&B went nuts about it afterwards. Even though he was basically explaining why Dobbie was beyond our reach.

Football clubs know a lot more about opposing dressing rooms than most fans would believe. But it's not really the done thing to put that knowledge out in public. If your DOF did, then I'd suggest it was an error of judgement on his part.

As to whether the story is actually true, I have no idea. We'll all know for certain once the January window closes.

Our DOF is a walloper to be fair.

Shame that we all second guessed you apart from the nonsense of an approach re CM………. as far fetched as your home crowd figures on 16th Dec 😎

If he didn’t approach your player how does he know what his plans are? Just telling it as it is mate 🤷‍♂️

A year or two back, that comment would have likely been aimed at Morrison. As he was easily our best player and the only one who could create something out of nothing. He's scored a few crackers this season, such as the third goal against you last week and his last-minute winner against Montrose.

He's superb on his game, but can be inconsistent as he proved today by not doing anything particularly special against Annan. Whereas we now have so many other good players who can step up and contribute instead of always relying on just the one creator. As today showed when we scored two absolute peaches - from our each of our centre halves. One of whom has that in his locker as it's not the first time he's done it. And we have a very strong bench.

If we lose one player in January - which I think you're insinuating - it should make very little difference to us, And I'm not so sure we'll lose anyone as whoever you're referring to has a very good chance of picking up a medal at the end of the season.

Ok, here’s the scoop. Our DOF, who by the way I despise, claimed at the forum that he last week approached Morrison with a view to signing him(stifle your laughter for a moment and humour me please) He was told, thanks but no thanks as he was signing a pre contract with a team down south in January. Falkirk are looking to get some sort of cash for him in January as they have players they want in which will allow him to leave then rather than at the end of the season.

Any fan forum I've been at concentrates on Falkirk. No point talking about the opposition when you need to do the business yourselves. Seems like a bit of trying to placate the fans by saying don't worry we've got 3 boys signed up and Falkirk will lose one of their best players so everything's Rosey.

Well,no, that’s not how it went at all.

If we don't sign a center half and striker in the next couple of weeks then it's league 1 again next season or we are relying on playoffs again and we seen how that went last season. Dylan McGowan has literally publicly stated that he wants to comeback but it's the club that don't want him he would make a big difference. I wasn't a big fan of Moyo but he offered so much more than O'Hara who has been rotten for weeks. Fulton should start every game he's fit for in the future Jamie did a good job for 4 games but that first goal never happens if Fulton is in goals.

    Moyo? Really? 😂😂😂😂😂😂

We have a better squad now than we had last season in The Championship.

Another decent signing for this level and it will be supplemented by some of the Under 18's like Paddy Meechan,Cian Newberry,Chrissy McGinn  and Liam Morgan(better than Ryan One/Ben Black).

Only downside of recent activity is that the outgoing stars from the Under 18's will weaken the team for their European games but the money from their sales has enabled us to build this squad, so  a Catch 22 scenario.

It might go all Pete Tong, but the fans are looking forward to this season with optimism  for the first time in many years.

I’d add in Lewis Latona, he reminds me of Billy Gilmour, very rarely gives the ball away and is stronger than he looks.

Can anyone say what’s happening with Fulton is he injured or leaving in the summer and that’s why he’s not playing because our fans are saying we should get him if you lot go down

He’s injured contrary to what many of our supporters think. From what I’ve heard, he’s off to Portsmouth. He’s also under contract so a fee will be involved. I doubt you guys could compete financially with them.
