Surely the question is why has her career went from premiership to League 2?
Seriously????
It's the most exciting job in Scottish football. A professional club at the start of an incredible journey that you can shape and mould as it progresses through the leagues. It's in th the largest city in Scotland and the perfect place to build a fan base and community links.
If anyone turned it down, you would question their desire and motivation.

Delighted with the win especially if you look at who never played for us. Peter Grant, Craig Slater, Louis Longridge, Canice Carroll and Brody Paterson all missed the game and Michael McGlinchey was an unused sub.
To be successful these days you need strength in depth. We certainly have that.

Spending money to be successful is fine. Spending ludicrous sums that you cannot sustain is not. Gretna were very much the latter.
Queen’s Park are presumably being sensible? I did wonder how a club with, say, attendances of 700 can afford to be full time and sign someone like Simon Murray but I’m hoping it’s all cool? Educate me please spiders.
Why?

Thought we deserved to win and delighted Stenie's time wasting and spoiling tactics never worked. Lost a poor goal at the start but could easily been ahead at the break. We kept at it and in the end our full-time fitness and quality shone through to get the result we deserved.

If true I would imagine it’s a Willie Haughey appointment and the end of the committee system that has run our club ....exciting times ahead .
Turkey's rarely vote for Christmas so I can't see this as a sole decision by Willie Haughey.
The Club appears to be getting it's act together on the pitch, I imagine this is the start of it getting it right off it.

Disappointing result.
I saw Queen's at Borough Briggs a couple of times, their fans struck me as an obnoxious bunch of condescending drunks. Looks like they're all posting on P&B now.
Can't wait until April and hopefully fans are allowed in.
Borough Briggs Buffoonery Bash!

Well, Ray McKinnon has them well coached.
Going to win the rest of theirgames 1-0...
Ridiculous second yellow. Great recovery by the QP player I thought his leg had fallen off....

Do they play differently at home? Because that was awful to watch.
Great to see comments like this from other fans, means we are getting it right. Blame the ref, criticise the winning team's style of play. Love it!
Complete amnesia on the fact we totally bossed the first half and deserved to be ahead at halftime. Elgin couldn't break us down in the second half and resorted to falling over trying to con the referee into giving them a penalty. They never got it and when the ref took action against their player for the worst tackle in the game it was the usual sour grapes nonsense.
2 points clear, unbeaten in the league and not conceded a goal. All this and we've played 75% of our games away from home. I'll take that!

Elgin posting that they're in a Tier 1 area and looking forward to welcoming fans in. Anyone told Nicola?
Does that mean the players change in the car park instead of the stand?

The letter I got, as a season ticket holder, says that it covers league and play off games but that I'd need to buy access to cup matches so it seems it will be the same as usual as I assume members will get cup matches free.
How much was the season ticket? Given that it's only £10 to stream games individually. If it was more than £130 (13 home games) I would be arguing that you've prepaid for cup games too!

Everything evolves or dies. Who knows what will happen in the next few years. One thing is for certain is it won't be a long lingering decline that was our future if we hadn't decided to change.
If we were still amateur, would we have a squad this season. Look at Pollok etc. when they asked their players to play for nothing. They said piss off!

You are nearly right, it was very disappointing when you consider that in February we beat them 3-1 with young Moore scoring 2 goals that day. There is no point in signing better players!!!! if they are not going to gel. The fact is we only played 2 preseason friendlies, and whose fault was that? That did not give our new players anytime to get to know one another on the park in real games. Only time will tell if Mr. McKinnon has put together the right blend of players, for us to do better than we did yesterday.
Rangers B 1 QP 1
QP 1 St. Johnstone 0
Airdrie 1 QP 0.
I make that 3?

We have yet to have a full bench. I note a trialist came on yesterday. I assume we will still make a few signings in the next couple of weeks.

Just having a laugh. I’m not one to follow the crowd and be in love with a group of staff and players who don’t really care. Hopefully things pick up but I worry for the future of the club. That’s being a fan
I worry too. A draw away to Stirling Albion. Next week Craig Slater will be back after suspension and then not long before Simon Murray is fit. Woe is me. The Lowland League beckons....

Just out of interest, how much did you sell Hampden for? Was it just five million, or are you still entitled to some revenue from concerts, etc?
What's a concert?

Does anyone have an opinion on Grant wearing the captains arm band? I’ve not read every post.
I’m absolutely gutted to see David Galt on the pitch and Grant wearing it. He’s hardly been in the door to be a captain of the club when Galty is Mr QP. Yer a fool if you think Grant cares about the club like Galt. The arm band should mean a lot and be chosen wisely. Looks like it’s went to the gaffers favourite?
Can anyone shed light, is Galt the Club Captain at least?
I may be cynical here but it appears to be symbolic of the clubs position right now. Tradition and loyalty out the window on this occasion?
Just curious why you support Queen's Park, you never have anything positive to say about the Club?

I think we need some realism.
Yesterday's second half was disappointing but Thistle are a level above anything we will face in our division. They are also a bit further on with their squad and match preparation than we are. They had a player who was in the team of the year for our league last season sitting on the bench as an unused sub!
I expect to see improvement on Tuesday. I expect to see players added this week. This most important thing is to get off to a winning start next Saturday and then keep that momentum going. If we do that then I'll happily look back on yesterday as a good lesson against a good team that we learned from.

Most clubs have went for these automated cameras which is a non starter for us as we don’t own the stadium anymore so can’t go down that route. So you are probably look at a team of VOLUNTEERS to come and provide the service. I swear QP fans are never happy.
These VOLUNTEERS seem happy to produce BAFTA award winning signing videos. It would be embarrassing if we couldn't stream games from the National Stadium in Scotland's largest city and Albion Rovers or Cowdenbeath do.
What's the point of playing if our supporters can't watch the games?
