I can't see him playing for us after this. Unless, of course, someone who chucks in five figures in donations every year demands that Goodwillie plays for Clyde even if it's at Glasgow Green in a Sunday pub league.

I hope the decision will immediately be undertaken to terminate the loan agreement before trying to build bridges with the council. Eviction from Broadwood next year would be the end of us in any meaningful sense, unless some moneybags appeared and wished to finance a stadium for us.

At least you’ll get what you want now. Playing at Shettleston or Rutherglen.

  2. Thomas Robert - the wonder kid son of Newcastle legend Laurent, flew over from France and turned down a 4-year deal at Montpellier to pitch up in Airdrie. A product of a link up between club & agent. Hailed as the player that was going to net the Diamonds an elusively big transfer fee

Admittedly scored some good goals and showed a decent turn for a month period around December 2020, resulting in “Tam Rab” t-shirts being ceremoniously sold out. The new year came and he went missing after a trial with Celtic. Made a 20 minute cameo in the play-off final with Morton and couldn’t kick his own arse.

New season dawns and still no sign of the prodigious Robert. Ian Murray doesn’t know what line to toe whether it be “he’s still our player… long term deal in place…”. Fast forward a few weeks and news filters out that he’s signed for Royal Excel Mouscron for exactly £0 in the Belgian second tier. He wears the number 99 on his strip and to date he’s made a massive one appearance.

But it’s fine. We’ve got Adam Frizzell & Dylan Easton now. And they’re better.

    Couldn't be more wrong.

Over 50 people alone on the owners forum voted for his return. Zero people in the Glasgow branch group on FB have said they are against it. Everyone I've spoke to are in favour.

The minority is Pie & Bovril, not the fans at games still singing his name, not the owners forums and not GB.

Make it all the worse, then, doesn’t it? Not a spine or thread of moral fibre among them.

You really do have to say "fair play" to the same fans he gave the middle finger to just a month ago for pressurising the piss-weak individuals on the board into this.

You don’t say fair play at all. These fans have advocated this move which will *hopefully* ensure harm to your club.

Horrible move from a horrible club.

Part of you hopes the nuclear talk is just a tool from Putin to sway negotiations his way, rather than him having any actual desire to use them, but who fucking knows at this point.

Have seen talk of Russian general telling the armies to take Kyiv "regardless of human cost".

Putin orders Russia's nuclear deterrence forces on high alert

Russian president Vladimir Putin has ordered military command to put nuclear deterrence forces on high alert after aggressive statements by Nato countries, Reuters reports.

This is mental. The guy's a crackpot.

I think we all need to settle down ffs, the old Airdrieis seeping out, Cove have been riding there luck for weeks and to be honest so have we,   are both sides struggling with the pressure, I would say so,  9 games to go we are 11 unbeaten, with our best side arguably in over 25 years......I

What ever happens in the remaining games the support has to sick together ,  one thing this bunch of players have shown is they will go down swinging..

Could hear the usual on the stream yesterday. When the ball went backwards it was booing.

Stage 2 will be flattening Kiev from the air and artillery, Aleppo style. Or they'll come to their senses and withdraw to the Donbas, declaring victory.

The attacks last night were meant to include all available MLRS weapons that the Russians had available according to intelligence. Whether that’s true or not… also with the economic sanctions and lack of raw materials it’ll take months to manufacture and replenish their stocks.

  9. Lots of footage of Russian pows saying they didn’t want to fight and were told they’d be enemies of the people if they didn’t mobilise. Also unconfirmed reports of a riot of around 5000 Russian troops refusing to fight, according to Obozrevatel. This mornings analysis puts Russian losses at 4300.

Don’t understand how the Russians seem to have been so tactically inept. Still they’re keeping groups of armour together and a drone strike took out a number of vehicles at Hostomel earlier.
