Slattery would benefit from a pure CDM beside him. He gives the ball away a lot but that's because he takes risks with forward passes that others don't. In the absence of a new signing Cornelius probably best for CDM. Lennon Miller potentially could play there too but that carries risk

What's Calum Butcher up to these days ? He would fit the bill for a CDM

Couldn't agree more...typified by Slattery choosing to shoot into a crowd instead of playing in Johnston who would have been clean through on goal

On the theme of things not being right off the pitch we were going in to ground about 10 to 3 and Jake Carroll drove in with Bevis Mugabi as his passenger. We all thought this was a bit off and they should have been on the team coach. Not sure what others think but can't see a Keith Lasley or a Scott Brown rocking up at 10 to 3 if they were injured...

Would also argue that today he took off the wrong forward. Shields was at least mildly threatening whilst Van Veen was maddeningly anonymous. Was also weird that Goss and Spittal swapped sides on more than one occasion in first half meaning our left side was loaded with right footers and left side loaded with right footers

He was better second half but a right sided centre half needed asap so Blaney can move over to the left. Think Blaney shows real promise. Calm composed and can actually pass the ball to his own teammates

My son played in an amateur game last saturday. Only social contact was the game. Now 6 players from the team have covid. My wife and daughter now have it too. Luckily I have tested negative and can look after my elderly mother in law who lives with us. Is it worth it ?
