Surely LED floodlights would be cheaper in the long run, yes slightly more expensive initial outlay, but take maintenance factor of 0.7 into account on metal halide or sodium lamps let's say your changing a "bulb" every 10,000hrs compared to LED lasting minimum 50,000hrs its a damn site cheaper overall
