I think that’s the point being made hence the riddy, so are you happy with Darvel’s season taking out the Aberdeen game given that they have the biggest budget in the league?

Not at all think Darvel have been off it for long parts but that doesn't change just because we have to the biggest budget doesn't guarantee winning the league but it should have guaranteed better performance that the disappointment

Massive budgets especially Darvel compared to Beith, you’re deluded if you think otherwise.

Not deluded budgets are all in good in theory Beith have been outstanding that's nothing to do with a budget they have been consistent that's not budget. they are a decent team this nonsense of better budget isn't the real world

Another absolute dire 90 minutes , like a pre season friendly and the quicker the season is over the better , huge job for a new manager coming in  cause looks like most of the players don’t want to be there

Got to agree by the looks of that today and the last few weeks no pride

That I know off mick had no financial involvement and if he did who really cares , it’s his money to do what he wants , it’s a grey area club wise however as the president of the club has had 1 agm In the last few years and it was invite only and then no balance sheets handed out this year and a blether saying everything is ok , as a fan it would be interesting to see what the wage bill was and how much the club owes John gall as im sure he will Have put hundreds of thousands in over the last few years , I’d imagine he’s done fine this year with the Scottish cup Run but was it a loan to the club and he takes that back out or is it left in the club , mind you I’d expect he will make a few Bob over the next few months as players ask away as iM sure a lot of them will follow mick wherever he gos  and most of them on 2 year deals , he either sells them or keeps unhappy players who will leave for hee haw next summer when contracts run down so be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks and months

I would imagine the new manager will bring his own backroom lots of changes

    Win the championship?

Was it not shored on ppg?.

He'll have success wherever he goes because it will be teams with shitloads of money.

You'll never see him at a team with no money.

As I've said before on here do you think if you have cash you instantly win things do you think the boys at Darvel just turn up on a Saturday don't train don't look after themselves that's no how it works

I was indeed at the Tranent game and Darvel were a shadow of the team that drew 2-2 with Talbot a few weeks earlier. they played some impressive passing stuff v Talbot that they couldn't even begin to reproduce in the biggest game in their history v Tranent. It was like watching a team that were suddenly overthinking every pass and they were horrendously toothless in a match they were strong favs to win.

The amount of games players ( who have jobs no doubt ) had to play over a short period of time was mental the players are human added to Tranent were and are a very good team

Beith having the points on the board has to make them very slight favs but there are still lots of games between the top 5 that could change things dramatically.

I still expect Darvel to stick a strong run together at some point but it probably has to be sooner than later if it's going to mean much, Talbot have the chance to go clear at the top but it's a lot of games in hand to win with a slender margin for error. I can't really see Pollok challenging but the Bankies seem to have worked their way into the chasing pack and seem to be on decent form at the right time.

If Beith win it nobody can have any complaints. I'd sooner see Talbot or any other team (apart from Darvel) win it as a reward for the planning and effort they've put into achieving their license, but it needs to be earned and another year or 2 in this division wouldn't be catastrophic for any of the teams in the hunt because every time I glance at the contents of the LL I get a wee bit depressed at the prospect of being part of it, even for a season.

Darvel not put any planning or effort into getting their Licence?
