It’s to indicate that in the event of the team at the top of the league going bust, the team in 5th place will move into a playoff place..

I think foul and abuse language is only a one game ban. If that's any consolation.
I'm sure Ross MacLean only missed one match earlier in the season after his red card at Airdrie for calling Scott Lambie a clown.
It will depend on what was said. The referee in yesterday’s match sent off Chris McKee of Brechin, in last seasons play off match. The player received a four game ban for comments of a homophobic nature.

Yea I’m the same, the heat we will receive if we sign this player will be severe, like you said I’d rather finish 7th if it means our credibility is intact. The fact the club are thinking about it is staggering. Im all for inclusion, but this is way way beyond the pale of acceptance
Goodwillie has been kicking around amateur and tier 3/4 football for years. He is not going to set the top half of the championship on fire.
Seems like a lose:/lose signing

As I recall the view from the old stand at Meadowbank was crap a lot of the time.
I mean, you could see well enough what was going on, but what you were looking at could sometimes make your eyes bleed.
Remember a Meadowbank v East Fife challenge cup game when spectators had to watch from the terrace due to an other event in the stand. Definitely the worst view ever, with next to zero elevation across a running track., felt like the game was being played 3 streets away. This design looks like it will replicate that. Feel sorry for the fans

Don’t think new manager will be someone in a current job, nor a rookie.
Not a lot of inspiring names out there, so expect Stevie Frail to step up.
If he doesn’t fancy it, how about Peter Houston or Gordon Young

Yes, against Hearts, I’m sure it’s because they were our first opponents at Old Bayview!!!IIRC game against Hearts was the centenary game.
Official opening game of stadium was against Kilmarnock as a rematch of 1938 Scottish Cup win.

I think he can - Kai Kennedy was on loan at Inverness until January last season then joined the Rovers until the end of the season.
The way I read your post was that these loan deals were imminent.
Jack Hamilton went on loan to Arbroath for the second half of last season too

Fotheringham and Dair have a pretty patchy record at Junior and EoS level. They leave with Dundonald in tenth position in league, having played more games than teams around them.
Would suggest the return of Crawford and Jason Dair would be a better option, and no one would welcome that

What’s going on down Links Street?
Seemed to be kicking off. Police vans escorting fans down the street, then walking officers burst into a run

Bill Clark has basically just given a mea culpa on the radio, but there were streetlights down as far as Morrisons, so either it was a wider issue or the Rovers have managed to f**k half the energy supply in the town.
Street lights come on around 2030. Clarke is trying to deflect any blame

The power outage in that area of Kirkcaldy perhaps?
Only power outage was within the stadium

Am thinking more out the way games, like ICT, Morton, QOS , in General bruv.
While it is probably illegal under SPFL broadcasting rights, it is of course a two way street. Raith would likely lose good income if Maryhill pubs start streaming Rovers v Thistle games etc

I cannot believe Mendy has been given a gig with an SPFL club. At Kelty he got by with someone (Tam Scobie) directing his every move. He can’t think for himself in football terms.
Adding Durban to that mix will result in a shambles

Morning lads, just been told we are getting an ex player back. I wasn’t a fan of the club when this guy first played for us, is he any good https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jordan-austin/profil/spieler/411620
JJ has been playing amateur football since he left, which is probably his level. Failed to score in his last spell. At least it’s not the return of Paul Willis.

When will the East Fife offer tickets on their website for the QP game ?
Season ticket holders have until noon on Wednesday to book their match ticket. and purchase additional ticket. After that I presume if there are any left they will go on general sale. Current restrictions limit capacity to 300

Totally would have Long or Hart before Gallagher. I would probably have Davie Gorman before Gallagher and he is getting on a bit
Ernie Mcgarr is still about the club.
Would give him the gloves, and Lindsay Hamilton can be back up0 -

Fool (if you think it's over).
He is only available until the middle of December, then he’s driving home.

I was thinking the same. Austria and Czech goals at Hampden were near identical. I think McTominay is pretty ineffective as a centre back, and we need a more naturally aware defensive pairing ( thought Gallagher performed well previously)
Also those goals were crosses right on the money, whereas Robertson and O’Donnell rarely put our forwards in scoring opportunities from their deliveries.Definitely something to be worked on

Gordon Rae (former Hibs stalwart) was assistant manager to Stevie Archibald at Bayview. Don’t recall him or anyone else playing the pipes at any match. There was a guy, Peter Wright, who would always wear his kilt, everyday in life

I think we struggle for pace throughout the team, and this was exposed last season. Don’t think this has been addressed and players are another year older.

Wonder if they'll learn their lesson and we might see some go on general sale for the 3rd game (if there's even any available). Seems ludicrous that UEFA would hold out and try to punt tickets for three figure prices to a much reduced audience, and ultimately miss out on, what, 200k in ticket money? I get they're not realistically going to reduce prices, but I think at the height of hype on Monday, I'd have paid for the top ticket.
That would be common sense. My brother payed over £200 on the resale market for a Cat 3 on Monday. I am not going to feed scalpers ( or pay €185 for a group stage football match) but it was ridiculous that unsold Cat 1 tickets were not made available when demand was there.

What’s the deal with Viagogo? How reliable etc?
Hit or miss. I placed an order with them on Sunday for a pair of tickets for Czech game. Transaction all confirmed with tickets to be sent via UEFA portal. Seemed a bargain with the pair of cat 2 coming to £224 inclusive of fees and delivery.
Checked email in box and email received immediately from Viagogo saying tickets had been cancelled., no other reason given. Suspect they never actually existed.
Credit card wasn’t charged so nothing lost.

I don't appear to have been contacted regarding a refund, then again why would any of us be entitled to a refund?
The entitlement to a refund is because 20/21 season tickets were sold on the basis of 13.5 home matches, whereas only 11 were played under the revised fixture list.

Hopefully after success v Ukraine at Hampden, Scotland progress to the final away to Wales or Austria.
Does anyone have any knowledge of the logistics of ticketing for the final, given that teams and venues are only known four days earlier.
Obviously digital tickets make things easier in terms of delivering tickets, but is there some advance preparations in place for this?
