Are you incapable of rationale thought?  It’s reported that Colts teams in the diddy cup have been a resounding success.  You need to believe less of what you read in the media and apply your own thought about how things will pan out.

Why does my opinion matter to you? You have made up your mind what is happening so anything I say will be irrelevant.

There was clearly 2 spaces available in the LL for next season and they have chosen to fill that with the two Old Firm Colt teams rather than from any of the clubs in tier 6.

They have to leave after one season, what tier 6 club would enter on that basis???

They are not there on merit at all. When the lowland league was formed they cobbled together a load of shite to bulk up the old EoS sides that joined it. No attempt was made to bring in sides like Linlithgow, Bo’ness etc instead they got newly formed glorified boys clubs like Cumbernauld colts, edusport academy, bsc Glasgow and parachuted them straight in at tier 5.

That’s because the juniors were a million miles behind in their thinking, and scoffed at the LL when it was formed.

The LL initially was supposed to be null and void too. Might have changed the decision in tier 6 if a promotion spot into the LL was up for grabs.

They could also have taken applications to join the LL which they have done in the past and just done with the Old Firm Colts.

Yes, but it didn’t?? The tier 6 leagues missed an open goal by one of them not declaring a champion, they would have gone up unchallenged.

The Colts thing is only for one year, so their is no application process, and no need for one.

I suspect that there'll be a fair few fans of other league clubs reading this thread, quietly thinking "f***, this could genuinely be us within the next decade".

Given the gradual improvements in the LL especially, it's more likely than not that other so-called established SPFL clubs will also fall through the trapdoor.

You would think that the easiest way back for clubs would be to have automatic relegation/promotion between tier 5 and 6.

I totally agree they’ve been hypocritical and they should be criticized for it too, but it’s the two wrongs don’t make a right. I’d like to see the LL relegate 3 teams to allow the EoS WoS and SoS champions to all move up. To me that’s the point of a pyramid that teams find their level.

Can you explain how they were supposed to promote somebody from tier 6 when all three leagues went nil and void??

  7. 2 minutes ago, Hampden Diehard said:

The LL weren't in a big rush to arrange something to promote someone into their league this year despite the outcry when it was thought there wouldn't be a play off into SPFL 2.

How could they promote anyone, all the tier 6 leagues went nil and void???

good luck brechin this horror show of a club from fife tainted in the blue pound would be a joke in the national league.

you'd think by the kelty rangers twitter account they were going for a world cup winners medal and olympic gold at the same time instead of trying to get into a bland league two.

Ahhh you are back, so I will issue my usual reminder to you. The juniors are dead and aren’t coming back.

In a purely hypothetical scenario where BSC were propelled by helium and hope, and they now cascade relentlessly down through the leagues without the support of the Broomhill structure, what Tier 6 league do they land upon? Firmly within the EOSL boundary based on Sauchie and Dunipace?

They are not supported by the sports club in a financial sense as far as I am aware.

I think its a genuine question in this instance. They were a youth sports club turned pro looking to represent their "community". They only ended up in Alloa by quirk of licensing after Ashfield & Maryhill never stuck.

Their "community" has now cut ties with the pro club. Admitting the difficulty in getting a licensed ground in Glasgow and that the pros have gone past being a player pathway for the youth club.

So what's the goal of BSCGFC now? Get back to anywhere in Glasgow that will take them? Stay in Alloa? Do a Caledonian Braves and build a ground wherever they can get land? More immediately is a change of name coming for 2021-22?

I understand they will still have an under 20 team, but ultimately I imagine that they will become like any club without a youth structure beneath them, and there are plenty of those clubs.

Genuine question, do clubs need to have a goal, other than trying to do the best they can in their respective leagues?

I cannot answer any of your other questions as I have no knowledge of their plans..

Didn't say East Fife weren't above being beaten by a farce of a club every now and again.

Let go of your hate, I know it’s driven by the Colts thing, but you really need to de-stress, you will feel better for it. 😉😀

Theyve live and let lived falsely for the past few seasons then, kidding us all on that there will be a place in Glasgow for them.

Should've read the signs way back then. Dont have a problem wi  playing out Alloa but least take the Glasgow name away and try rebuild something.

What's happened has there been some sort of fall oot ?

To be honest mate, I only have a 2nd hand knowledge of anything that goes on (through a player), but it doesn’t stretch as far as knowing what has caused this. The only thing  I can say is that I don’t think it’s for the want of trying that they aren’t in Glasgow.

I've defended them in the past but this is just taking the piss.

I really don’t see why people are getting their knickers in a twist over this. In what way does it affect anyone, live and let live. Scottish football is full of naysayers at the moment, do we really need to bother about this??

I am away to watch Eurovision to cheer myself up. 😀😀

    What a farce of a club😂

I love the fact that they wind so many people up, more power to their elbow I say. 😃😃

Did they not also dump your team out of the Scottish a couple of seasons back?

The rebrand seems to be needed for the LL side. At least when Edusport Academy switched to Caledonian Braves it was due to moving into a new permanent home.

Twitter @BSCGlasgow is now for the WoSFL team. The website has gone through a rebrand for the WoSFL team as well confirming they've cut ties. Reasons given the difficulty in finding a ground in Glasgow for the LL side and that the LL side was no longer a pathway to the youth club.

They have had 2 Twitter accounts for a while now, LL team is BSC Glasgow FC on Twitter

No reason why a club that has no home of its own and no identifiable support base now the youth club has severed ties should be allowed to play at the professional game board level indefinitely on the basis of a groundshare.

They are doing nothing wrong under the rules.
