  1. Eh just to say that maybe high schoolsters should be given 4 weeks off before their easter break in exchange for going to school for 4 weeks in the summer. So swapping 4 weeks of blended learning when parents are at home during lockdown for 4 weeks of proper learning in the summer when their parents need to be out at work driving the economy. A six week easter holiday when the going is bad and still space for a couple of weeks off in summer before the next school year begins.
  2. If non contact sport is allowed for some and people are allowed to meet others for outdoor exercise from march 15 then that's a reasonable date for training to resume. April 5 is when stay at home is lifted so that's a reasonable date for matches to begin. I'LL hang my hat there.
  3. Spfl2 clubs won't vote for more relegation unless Berwick or East Stirling come back up. To show it can be done. Shame as LL's more interesting than L2. Bigger spfl's the shortcut to more prom/rel.
  4. Your Championship. 14 teams, no split. Tick. Include Falkirk, Patrick makes 10 full timers with big away support. Play everyone of them at home x1 and half of them at home again. Because playing all teams x3. So 15 home games with big away support. Championship at the mo - 8 full timers, playing x2 at home = 16 home games with big away support. Not much in it. Assuming you're promoting Kelty, Brora to increase spfl to 44. Not colts. ?
  5. Nah that top 4 idea sounds rubbish tbf. It's not like big teams will vote for less games against other big teams anyway. I gie up!
  6. Uh huh but my way had only 10 big fishes to feed at the top. Feel ill at the idea of another division with a split even if arguments for it are good. 18, 10, 18 would give the same benefits but no splits and only 3 divisions. Playoffs everywhere to keep things interesting.
  7. Option 2 chief. And scunnered that folk keep seeing other meanings when I write something clear! Don't much like a split in the Premier, but your Premier + Champ top 8 covers most full time teams with space for bigger part timers in the Champ bottom 6. If life worked that way.
  8. Ok - I just meant 2 automatic relegated from top level but can see that wasnae clear. Why not have three divisions then, with a middle 14 that splits however you like, bottom division of 18. So big teams in the middle division can meet 4 times a year to help them stay full time yet bring more wee teams into a higher level and help them develop. A big bottom division to open promotion from lowland, highland up a bit. Gradual increase in size of divisions to keep promotion, relegation ratio sensible. ??
  9. Love hearts remind me of naked women from behind bending over. Romantic.
  10. Something simpler would be good. No split. Fewer divisions. Top division of 10, middle division of 18, bottom division of 18. - 2 relegated from top league, 1 plus play offs to come up. - 2 relegated from middle league, 1 goes into play offs with 3-5 in bottom league. - 2 relegated from bottom league, 1 goes into play offs with runners up of highland and lowland leagues.
