Interesting points from SK on head injuries today, and it makes sense. If a player isn't in control of a tackle on the ground, and hits someone with their follow through, there's a good chance of a card, but players just throw themselves at headers with no guarantee of getting the ball. This obviously comes from two of our guys taking serious knocks, but it will be interesting to see if this evolves any.

As said above, it looks cool on a larger scale when there's 50k fans there, not so much when it's 20 folk. I don't believe it adds anything to the "atmosphere", and I'm not convinced it's safe to breathe in either. If the people doing it think it adds to the atmosphere of the game and makes the experience better for everyone, maybe they should canvas their fellow fans on that, but they really just do it for themselves and would probably stop if it wasn't outlawed.

The main card was really good, with the Danielson match being the standout. Jarret got a good reaction as well. The first house of black intervention got a huge pop, the subsequent ones not so much, but they're definitely over. Max casters memphis grizzlies jibes didn't go down well though. During commercials Dasha had good banter with the crowd, which was a nice change from WWEs slick video packages and Ads. A lot of people recognized Skye Blues opponent from the Netflix show, Wrestlers, which is worth a watch. They taped ROH matches before and after and they were pretty poor: Angelico v someone, Dalton castle (good value) v someone, athena/billie starks v Martinez and Diamante (God awful match, and my bar is low), then we left during Kyle Fletcher v Willie mack because the kids were becoming restless.

They've played poorly either way, but half of their team was dead on their feet from fielding in that humidity, and I'm not sure what else they expected. So hopefully we can keep picking up points without having to panic and compromise the way we play. I'm reluctant to drop one of the 4 midfielders to accommodate a second striker, but we did seem to have more of a threat with Shaw alongside Bair, but that may have been more down to rangers shitting themselves.
