We've had two keepers on the bench the past few games. Mental

Missed him whilst I was in shock. Still isn't great. I hope it's just another bug thats doing the rounds and nothing worse.

Pars line up with Chalmers as Captain and absolutely no one on the bench beyond Bene. But yeah we don't need to be active this coming window.... 3 nil home win.

It's concerning if the board are thinking we are in a decent position with the squad we have and dont need anyone (speculative I know). On the basis of the table it will look acceptable, but we could as easily be at the other end if a couple of results go against us. Last week for example we got away with one. They must know that going into a relegation battle won't help "the model" and the squad has been stretched and patched up for two seasons. We got away with it last season with a lack of injuries, but this season is completely different. Yes we are sat in the right half, but a couple of losses on the bounce will see that change completely! We need a CB and striker to progress on the pitch and secure our position, creating a squad we can build on and introduce youth to in future. They must see that surely!

It was the same the first half last week. The pace and fight wasn't there. At home we should be flying out the gate and the fans will get right behind them. Instead we are as flat as the teams performance

Chalmers keeps his place in the team for me, and goes in goals for Mehmet. Can't be any worse surely

Ashcroft might bring needed goals as well from set pieces and also help clear and defend our own box better since Mehmet is rooted

There's also the fact that if they played for Dundee at any point, they will automatically be linked with us. Happy for it to be true and him and Bene with Fisher or Breen works for me and gives us cover. Get it done

Again the lack of goals against isn't down to the keeper. This nor last season. It's the defence. I appreciate a keepers mistakes will stand out, but when they are as basic as what we've seen, they rightly should stand and be singled out.

But like last season, is that really down to the keeper or more the defense in front of him. For me it's the defence that's done the job, despite the howlers of the keepers we've had in the goals or Mehmet stuck to his line every cross and corner.

Yup just 6 off the playoffs at the wrong end. Too many performances like today on the cards. Unless we sort that out then we'll still be looking over our shoulders the rest of the season. Far from comfortable in 4th.

Should have known the Pars wouldn't show up. We can't string 2 or 3 decent performances in a row together. To slow and little urgency yet again. Won't even talk about the keeper situ...

So a virus at the club and training cancelled today to prevent spreading it according to the Courier. On a plus they're saying Breen, Bene and Fisher have been in full training and are available for Sat. Might be a bit early for them to be starting but it depends how many survive this virus doing the rounds.

Why would he leave us? We're massive!! Stay and keep building something that you're integral to, or gamble on a club that might be a league up, for now... As long as he is happy doing what he's doing and we're happy with him doing it, then it should take a lot to entice him away.
