  1. I asked the very biege question about cladding, renovations and snack bar building.

These are all things that were getting a lot of fanfare when the new board took over but had gone very quiet. For me there's no other real opportunity to get something like that answered short of a lengthy interview with Barrowman and we should always ask questions of ambitious plans.

For what it's worth I think the new regime have done an excellent job in such a short period of time. I'm more than happy to give the club my modest amount every month and although its a glorified donation I do feel as a member I get recognition from the club .

  2. We have 3 dead rubbers to play where the opposition in 2 of them at least will still be competitive and then a week off before the first play off match.

It's almost like a mini pre season to get ourselves ready. See the players are in today for some reason, would have thought they'd get some time off after 3 games in a week.

This very much sums it up, I dread to think where we would be if the new owners had never got involved and we were left with John Sim tightening the purse strings even more, we've certainly come on leaps and bounds since they did though, both on and of the park, the fan base has nearly doubled, the media team with their quirky gifs etc has certainly got peoples attention for one reason or another, as everybodys talking about it, the RTV stream us one of the best in the leagues and the catering is making money for us instead of someone else, more good times ahead whether we make it up or not.

This was last season can't find this year's but we will more or less double our prize money from the league this season.

  4. Does Murray experiment with the squad, or does he decisively pick an 11 and play them every game to try and get a winning formula for the play offs?

We have 4 games left to prepare for the play offs. A format that's seen us either get knocked out before the final, or get relegated by Brechin a side that subsequently got relegated themselves every season after that and are bo longer in the league.

Going for a 5-5 with a couple of red cards

I really like Connolly and he definitely has a part to play for us over the rest of the season.

My biggest issue is with his inability to cross with his right foot.  There were so many times last night where there was an obvious pass through the channel between LB and CB for him to run onto then get a cross over.  However, he stayed short and wide every time so he could then try to cut back on to his left.  We knew he was going to do it and so did the Airdrie defenders.  I don't really blame him if he isn't confident in his ability to put a decent cross in with his right foot (surely he'll be working on this in training though) but it just baffles me why we almost never try playing him on the left.

Connolly might as well not have a right foot he will not under any circumstances use it at all.

Easton has improved his use of his weaker foot this season by contrast.

  6. Last night second half performance only and had we equalised I think we had a good chance of winning it.

Yes it was all or nothing at the back but Airddrie fir the first time we're on the ropes.

I'm not saying next time out we go 2 at the back and 8 forwards but go for them in an aggressive way.

On a side note will Ashcroft be back for the play offs?

We desperately need to move away from having Brown at centre back.  He's done fine there plenty times, but he's been miles off it on too many occasions now.

This has been an issue all season long. I've lost count of the goals we've conceded that we probably wouldn't have if there was an actual defender playing.

This isn't Browns fault and he can only do what he can do.

Defence needs to be the basis of next years team and some serious recruitment needed.

Got to be honest don't fancy us for the play offs at all.

The disappointment of not winning the title might be too much to get past. Having run it so close for so lonmisust be a fucker to get motivated again.

Partick sailed through to the final last year and shouldn't be in this league. They won't f**k about this year.

If by chance Partick do f**k about then Airdrie know plan A, B, C, D, E and F against us.

Arguably naive of Murray once again. Left no margin of error on the counter. Was there really nothing else he could think to do to get us back in the game without leaving ourselves wide open?

Can't blame Murray for going fir it second half it was must win.

The blame for us false at the feet of a God awful first half performance by the players on the park.
