Got a feeling Fraserburgh may be a banana peel but hopefully we can get past them. I hope we give Robbie McGale and Canto some game time, so they can actually be helpful in the league. I would go with a 3-5-2. Fleming, Quinn, Dillon, Waddell, Steeves, Mochrie, Antonazzi, Ballantine, McGale, Rennie, Johnston. We need to rest Webby as he’s proving to be the main man at the moment going forward. Hopefully Terry can get 30 minutes in the second half.

Heard he’s not really had a kick at Forfar so not the greatest loan in terms of game time this year, but he was great when he was at loan with us. Hopefully he’ll get a chance with cochrane out for a bit.

I felt it was a mistake playing Paul Watson, especially as he hadn’t started a game yet. Very weak in the midfield and lost the ball multiple times. Rightly subbed off in my opinion

There was a couple, not many. Just 2 goalkeeping mistakes have failed us.

I think it will be a hard match but I’ve seen photos of Nairn’s pitch which is in pretty good condition; so I think we’ll squeak through.

Mochrie just needs not to get injured like Michael Owen and he’ll be set for big things. I see, unfortunately, the old firm making a sweep for him soon.

I'll respect team selection for the Nairn cup game but I really hope we put out our best team and progress because it is another truncated season and sponsorship money will be welcome. I know the full squad need game time but on this occasion in my opinion we can and should aim to have a decent cup run as players regain their fitness and sharpness.. Fully realise there will be others who feel a cup run will only add to a congestion of fixtures.
The Mo will be featured in the footy magazine Nutmeg in the May edition so will be worth looking out for - loads more nostalgia and quotes.
Absolutely agree with this, can’t have a repeat of last year. The year before was especially good with drawing Dundee United at home but as there are no fans it just won’t be the same. I feel like we’ll have to play a weather beaten back line but will have slightly more freedom in selection further up the park. Fingers crossed Nairn’s pitch is decent.

With all that being said i hope it will be a fun game to watch, and the backdrop to Fraserburgh’s stadium is just splendiferous.
