  1. The sponsor troubles me, not going to lie.

I have enough dealings at work with Digby Jones and Dallas McMillan claims, without my football team encouraging them.

Tbh, I'd much rather we continue to encourage gambling or pawning of family heirlooms / stolen goods in the area, than encourage swathes of fraudulent claims.

Btw, I have no issue with legitimate claims whatsoever, but the rise of these parasites, the number of fraudulent claims is on the rise, year after year.

I'd rather we were sponsored by Uppercrust or the Electric Bar.

    🤷‍♂️

Going to the black keys tomorrow night at the ovo. Any recommendations for pubs close by for before and after?

Head up Finnieston, walking distance, over the SECC tunnel 👍

  3. Phenomenal gig, a few drunken steamers beside me, two in particular who spent all fucking night on their phones, watching the gig through the video screen...but other than that, absolutely nothing to get worked up about...the summer sun this weekend has no doubt added to the exuberance I guess...!

Saw him for the first time 5 years ago, but this was head and shoulders above for me, whether that was simply the seats we had, I dunno, but I thought tonight was pretty special, have to say!

Glad I kept my first ticket and started the book back in 1974, sure brings back the memories. The days at the Apollo are increasingly hazy though. Sometimes think it was a different person who trotted up Renfield Street for chips at the Blue Lagoon all those years ago - reeking of patchouli oil and a denim jacket with band patches sewn on. Anyway, before putting the ticket book away, as requested, here’s a few photos. The very first page starting with Slade, another 1970s page, and finally, the page with the most treasured ticket and programme in my entire collection. I will never forget that night in New York until the day I die. Until that night, I could never decide what was the best concert I’d ever been to. Nothing has ever come close though. Still gives me goosebumps thinking about it.

Me and the misses used to frame ours, this is from early 90's to 2013, rest is in a box...you've inspired me to get the laminator out...!!!

I didn't have any great beef with him - but I can't think of many examples over the years of players that were out the picture simply fucking off while getting paid by the club. I'm never ITK, so I've always assumed it was the club's decision but if it was he must have been either (a) unbelievably pish and stinking out training every day or (b) an arsehole of some description.

I found the fact that the club didn't come out with "family matter" or "knee" the weirdest part of it TBH.

That statement would have been quite something, would certainly set a new precedent in terms of squad announcements...

"Josh Morris - Released.........for being unbelievably pish, stinking out training every day and for being a massive grade A arsehole."

  6. The misses just started watching it there and shouted me through...watched 2 minutes of it, all I could stomach...

    Poor me, poor me...

The ruffled hair, the inward body language, the overly...dramatic...pauses...in...speech...for...effect...fook me man, all that's missing is the Eastenders ending "doof doofs"...

Playing Punk On The Peninsula today. Just off the ferry. Sun splitting the sky and we're opening the outdoor stage. Braw.

I played at the Dunoon Mod Weekender last year, on a day like this, inside that tent, on stage it's hotter than the surface of the sun!!

    Have a belter mate.

When Raith papped us it seemed this strip would get tae f**k rarely to surface again. Kev's run and record equalling (for now) exploits means the strip however has other ideas.

I immediately and instinctively liked the strip.

I've always liked and defended, all fucking season, the strip.

I've been castigated and direded for liking and defending the strip.

I'm now in a place watching the last few months of KKVV matching century old scoring records, and laughing out loudly at the mere suggestion of the curse of relegation because of the strip, all of which are now bound firmly in history.

I'm glad I immediately and instinctively liked the strip.

I'd gladly see a future return of the strip.
